Today we were in the middle of meal prep day and here is what we eat in a day as a plant based family. We love sharing these vegan recipe ideas with you and hope you can get some inspiration for your next plant based meals.
💚Thank you all for joining our family, if you want to support us be sure to like, share our content, subscribe, and give thanks! We appreciate you all and love sharing what we can with you.

Recipes - We don't measure much in our home cooking but here's a guide for what we made to help you:
Breakfast Chickpea Pancakes
Soak raw chickpeas overnight. The next morning, drain and rinse chickpeas and add to a blender. Add just enough water to cover plus 1-2cm
Season with salt to taste (depending on how much you are making, we added 1 1/2 tsp salt for the amount we used)
Add 1 tsp five spice powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black salt (kala namak) for eggy taste if desired
Heat a cast iron skillet with grapeseed oil, pour the batter out in a pancake shape, and cook for about 2 mins on each side on medium-high. Flip and cook for another 2 mins, serve with your favorite toppings e.g. kimchi, green onions, avocado, hot sauce, side salad, rice, etc.
Lunch
Enoki mushrooms and tofu
Sautee 1/2 a large onion in grapeseed oil, add a drizzle of sesame oil, 1/2 thumb of ginger, and sliced garlic. Then add sliced or crumbled tofu and enoki mushrooms. Season with coconut aminos or salt to taste. Garnish with green onions.
Bakchoy
Sautee 1/2 large onion in grapeseed oil, add sliced garlic, add bakchoy, season with salt or coconut aminos to taste, and add about 2 tbsp water to help steam the vegetable.
Dinner
Basic Bread Recipe
2 cups warm water, 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast, 2 tbsp coconut sugar - let sit until foamy. Add 2 tbsp oil, 1 1/2 tsp salt
Add 4 1/2 cups flour (we used fresh home-milled flour) If you want detailed instructions on how to bake bread and adjust using your own flour, watch this video: • HOW TO MAKE BREAD AT H...
Stove-top baked beans
1 large can crushed tomatoes, 1/4 cup water, 2 tsp salt, 2 tbsp Dijon mustard, 3/4 cup coconut sugar, 1 tbsp each onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and ancho chili powder. Add about 4 cans of beans or more if desired. Cook on a stove and simmer for at least 15 mins on low.
Cinnamon rolls - the recipe is being perfected. Will share when it's 100% bomb all the time!

💛About us:
Hi! We are Trey and Rosa, we have 5 kiddos and we moved from the big city of Las Vegas to the outskirts of Pahrump to homestead and grow our own food with the goal of self-sufficiency. We have a small homestead with Nigerian Dwarf goats, ducks, chickens, and also have cats and dogs running around everywhere and recently converted to eating a full plant based diet due to health reasons.
We are passionate about growing our own food, eating clean & healthy, cooking food from scratch, desert gardening and making simple skincare products for our family and for you.
We specialize in making 100% goat's milk soap using fresh goat milk from our own Nigerian Dwarf goats that provide the most moisturizing bar of goat milk soap you'll try. We love all the benefits of our goat milk soaps and find that it's great for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin.

I STOPPED eating eggs years ago so why would I want to be reminded of how eggs taste. In Jamaica we have a wonderful green vegetable called Callaloo and green Cabbage are my favorites leafy greens. Pak Choi also when available.❤❤❤, i like cinnamon pastries but i never made any only bought ones. That baked beans meal looks delicious. Ithink i might make it with some substitutions. Good cooking show it liked.😊❤👍🇯🇲

Love that you show how it can be done. I should have started with more diverse foods for my two children when they were young. Question, you mentioned coconut aminos, but is soy sauce not something you use?
@thehaipath
@thehaipath 6 ай бұрын
Hiya Birdie! Such a cute name 🥰 we totally understand and agree when you can to start them young. We don’t use much soy sauce because we believe it’s not great for our boys. So we opt for coconut aminos instead which is a little sweeter but can work as a good substitute!
