My bff growing up would eat her lunch,my lunch and still be starving.She was maybe 80lbs dripping wet in high school.She hated people accusing her of having an eating disorder and hated having to go school shopping in the kids dept.I was jealous because I gain weight easily and have to many curves to fit into popular styles of clothing.
@annieroydube6 жыл бұрын
Bee Gnome In high school, I would eat whatever I wanted (just like your friend) and I never gained weight and was really tall... SO many people would call me anorexic and it really hurt tbh. People should stop body shaming another and just accept that everyone is different! Some people need to gain weight while some people need to lose some. Fucus on yourself and let people live😏

Me too! :( but it’s so hard bc my metabolism is super fast so no matter how much I eat I still can’t seem to put on weight. It makes me feel worse about myself too because of this. I’ve tried so many different things. Nothing seems to be working.

Hannah that’s exactly what happens to me! Not only do I have celiac disease, but my whole digestive system is messed up from having panic attacks all the time. Anxiety has a serious impact on the body. I’ve been drinking protein shakes just like Emelyne to get more protein.

Ooohhh sane thing with me! I list 10lbs which isnt a lot but for a 5’2 frame it’s a BIG difference, i had bad anxiety over the summer and lost weight and i am also thin to begin with an its hard to gain weight, anxiety is gone but now im trying to regain my lbs back and its so hard! I dont go to they gym though because im super self conscious!

I wish I was naturally thin. I’m naturally fat and gain weight very easily and quickly.
@Billybloop6 жыл бұрын
No one is 'naturally thin' or 'naturally fat'. Most women of the same age and activity levels have very similar caloric needs. If you weighed and measured everything you ate very precisely you would likely be eating too much.
@Billybloop6 жыл бұрын
@@kammi9883 there are some genes associated with obesity, but they effect eating behavior rather than the rate at which the body uses energy. If you travel to a country where no one has the opportunity to overeat, no one is obese. I guarantee that if you were to eat 2,000 calories every single day, no more than that, ever, your BMI would fall within the normal range. I also guarantee that if you were stuck in a famine you would become underweight just like everyone else.

I was so thin at one time 96 pounds I tried every thing to gain weight My Doctor told me to drink lots of milk shakes & ice creme . I married at 34 & I became so relaxed with my life I weighed 178 pounds a month ago I am now trying so hard to lose the weight. I lost 6 pounds in a month so I am happy so far . I joined the gym I swim about 18 laps ,do Zumba ,plus a low impact, a mile on the bike & a mile on the treadmill, plus 2 weight machines. I never in a million years thought I would allow myself to be over weight. I do not feel healthy like this. It is a lot of work keeping track of my weight my calories,fat, carb & protein intake I need to drink more water I am very lax on that Thanks for the reminder that it does make a difference in our skin !! have a lovely week ( Judy )

I suggest calorie counting for anyone who wants to lose or gain weight. Over time even a diet of 1900 calories a day can make a physically active woman very thin. It may feel like you are eating more or less than you really are. Virtually any woman will gain weight rapidly on 3,000 calories a day unless you are regularly doing 10 mile runs. You need to take into account exercise calories as well. If you struggle add in liquids and oils. Being underweight and overweight are both 2 sides of the same coin.

I’m looking at your fingers and how far they move back, and I am wondering if you were misdiagnosed as RA, and instead have a type of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Rheumatoid arthritis is often misdiagnosed, and instead have EDS. I have EDS, and many doctors thought that I had arthritis before a doctor realized I had EDS.

Emelyne, I cannot have soy, due to health history, and cannot eat a lot of meat, due to not having my stomach and remaining gastroparesis issues. I get most nutrition thru my J Tube with Whey protein. When I do eat 'regular food', they are mostly vegetarian... any idea's for high protein without soy?? I like your recipe ideas, but, most do contain soy-based products. Very frustrating - when you cannot find good substitutes!! Thx BTW, Congratulations on your engagement, and upcoming wedding !!!

You can try working lentils, quinoa, green peas, and black beans into your diet. Hemp and chia are also great, and for snacks, nuts and seeds are fantastic. I don't do soy either, because all of the research I've read suggest that it's a definite negative for health, so I do all of those foods instead. Lots of broccoli, too! Good luck! :D

freebird3016 Actually, she did eat a good amount of calories, and eating what she did, she consumed plenty of nutrients! It is also a very healthy lifestyle change, and can be done to either gain or lose weight! And I would agree (because, you know, pizza is AMAZING), but Emelyne is currently plant-based so I don’t know if she’d have very many options! Plus, if you bought food from Pizza Hut, the chances are that it’s not going to be very good for your health. Sorry if I offended you!
