If you’re in Raleigh again, try Irregardless. They aren’t all plant based, but everything on their menu is clearly marked. The food is exceptional.

All good places! If you get back to the area, try Earth to Us in Raleigh/Cary. Great food and lovely people. Irregardless Cafe is also good as is Sasool and Neomonde.

I live here and I didn't know we had so many vegan/healthier options to eat! Usually you're surrounded by Chick Fil A, McDonalds, and Bojangles. You just gave me new places to grab lunch and earned a new subscriber!

I loved that they were able to just break up a falafel onto my salad to replace the chicken. It was a unique option and I love it.

Yes, we were supposed to go to Fiction Kitchen but like I said in the video, they wont let you in without a reservation now. We ate the last trip and loved it. So we had no choice but to walk over to Element.

We have family in Raleigh that we are going to see in a few months so this was great to show us some vegan places! You were in Fargo where my other family is. I have family in Houston and Dallas, so I’m guessing that you will be heading there next. Haha.

I was just in Raleigh, NC visiting my daughters! One of the best vegan restaurants in Raleigh is Fiction Kitchen!! Did you happen to find it?

I talk about this in the video. They would not let us in. We didn't have a reservation, it was a Wednesday night, there were open tables but they said we could not eat without a reservation, which is why we walked over to Element. We have eaten there on previous trips but they turned us away.

​@@PlantBasedDads I live right near Raleigh, and FK just started the reservation only during covid - in an effort to avoid so many people mulling around in the restaurant, I believe. They also still do online ordering per their website.

I asked them about that. It had nothing to do with Covid. I was willing to wait for a table so it isn't like I needed to be seated right then and there, but they just said they would not seat me tonight. I had to have made a reservation first. Thats all they kept saying. The Covid excuse is getting old. They had staff, they were open and they had empty tables on a Wednesday night. I am not ordering anything online. If they cant accommodate me at all during the night, then I will go somewhere else, which is exactly what I did. I wont be going back there.

@@PlantBasedDads They had staff, but did they have enough staff? Some restaurants in my area have even closed parts of their dining areas b/c of staff shortages.

I do appreciate the vegan options but I just wish there could be more WFPB healthy options! I eat out so infrequently because it's far too easy to eat the hyper palatable vegan junk and regret it later!

Well, it was Raleigh. We were lucky to find anything vegan. Really, I wanted to show Fiction Kitchen because last time I was there I got a really good farm to table meal that was all veggies, but since they would seat us without a preexisting reservation, that was out.
