Hello from Florida USA, I really enjoy learning about what people feed their horses around the world. My horses get a ration balancer along with plain beet pulp, alfalfa pellets (or timothy/alfalfa pellets) soaked with their supplements, then either a grass hay (coastal bermuda grass is common where I am), alfalfa hay or mixture of the two depending on the individual needs of the horse.

I love my slick and easy grooming stones for shedding season, which is pretty much now. Any of the horses that have not been clipped shed out super nice with these. Going on the cheap, from the dollar store, I get the sponges - I think for washing - cars that have a rough scruffy side and a soft sponge side. Those are awesome for scrubbing dirty horses when you give a bath. Also, from the dollar store, if you get the soft little hairbands that are not rubber bands, they are great for braiding manes and tails without breaking the hair. These are great on my Lusitano and Andalusian horses. Cowboy magic is the best for manes and tails, along those lines. I used to use show sheen all the time, but I think they changed their formula and I haven’t been loving it lately. Now it’s cowboy magic all the way to brush through the long manes and tails.

I have a pair of hands on grooming gloves too , they are great for hairy cobs ! In regards to something that I couldn’t live without it would either be the red Gorilla feed tubs ( they are indestructible) or a good waterproof rug for pouring rain ( aka Scottish weather ) , hope this helps someone 😄 and also very good vlog Tina xx

I have an ulcer prone Arab x and feed him redmills horse care ultra along with Dengie performance fibre (seems softer and less dusty than alfa oil) also has foran nutri calm (found that does have an effect as become very spooky when I ran out for a short while)

OK, can I just say… Priorities? I know making the hubby happy is important. I know cleaning up a mess is important, but come on. You can clean up trees in the rain. You should’ve whined to the hubby and prioritized riding. I have learned this over and over again. Ride first and do chores later. Chores will always be there. Life is short. Do what makes you happy first and take care of the boring responsibilities later.

Poor OC is in heat. :D If she manages to find a boyfriend, you might have kittens soon! Maybe a good idea for a giveaway.. LOL Feeding horses is so much different in my part of the US compared to where you are. We feed hay as their primary source of forage. (No pasture here.) Some people add grain (we try to avoid it and use ration balancers/supplements for the ones growing/in work) but you don't often see chaff used. In the summer, we grow our own fodder. ETA Just a heads up, the notification bell doesn't work "for content made for kids" so I don't get a notification when you upload, but YT knows I'm going to watch it so it pops up anyway.

My boy has to have small holed nets hung from the middle of his stable because he is a fat pig and will eat it within 1 hour If it’s anywhere else 😂 he is currently recovering from a tendon injury so I think he just gets bored 😂
