I just love watching what you got the girls. I got my 6 year old grandson some clothes ( goodwill found great deal) and few things for stocking . Praying I can get enough money together for some. books he wants. Reading is exciting to him right now. Please everyone pray we can give him a good Christmas. He's a good kid does not ask for much. Mom just got a job been out of work since May due to car accident. God is good. Both kids lost jobs for awhile but both working. Now time to catch up. May God bless everyone. How many of y'all make a birthday cake for Jesus. We through a small party on Christmas Eve, it's a good way to bring the real reason of the season.

Don't worry about everyone else you do what works for your family! I set a budget and keep my numbers even even though my 2 are 23 and 26 now ! Everyone has 9 wrapped this year... some years it more some years it's less basically whoever I finish the budget for first sets the number ... they will love everything!

I realize this is an older video but I just discovered your channel a day or two ago and I am watching some previous videos to distract and entertain me while I am on semi bed rest. I love the thought you put into choosing gifts! The Lord chose not to meet my desire to have my own family, but He gave me quite a collection of nieces, one nephew, and four lovely godchildren. (Godchild #2 just had her first child, a precious baby boy!) When it comes to buying gifts, I am bad about going overboard, so I try to stick with a little rhyme I heard years ago. "Something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read." Their parents provide for true needs, of course, so I typically get an outdoor toy because I think it is important for children to have room to run and play.

I lose some of the presents too! I only have 4 kids but it's hard to keep track! Plus my kids are sneaky and find the gifts so I have to be extra clever where I hide them, which means sometimes I can't even find them 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

I have tried so many things! Right now I have clear rolling buckets that I put toys in and then roll under their bed. There is still always messes though. 😂

The more kids I have and the older I get I realize less toys is how I stay organized. If there is too much stuff they can't keep track and it gets all over. We are currently in the Advent purge in our house before all the gifts come rolling in. Maybe limit the toys in their room to a container per child?

I had those boots you got your oldest, I love Ariat, and I wore them with my dresses. I am a boot girl through and through, wear them everyday. It's cute that they all have their own paw patrol character that they like. We homeschool too, I have a nearly 9 yr old, 6 and 14 months. Looks like it will be a fun Christmas!

I set a limit of 5 per child. We have 6, ages 16 down to 4. Two boys and four girls. My Husband has us up to 20, yes, twenty, per child. We started in July, were done in November. Last year we were at 15 per child. Each child also buys 2 presents from their allowance to donate.
