This is one of the realest reviews I've ever seen. I went with a 22 GT Plus because it's AWD and 30 MPG (my job is 65 miles away). I'm going to crave the sound, but I can always upgrade when I move closer to work. Use the saved gas money for the next ride. Congrats on the upgrade by the way

just picked up my Frostbite GT other day, i love it's quietness, but that's what i wanted.. a cool daily driver. but you can get that V8 sound with the right Exhaust system. our old 89 turbo TA (w/turbo v6) was pretty throaty, had a deep exhaust note like a small v8. so if they can do that 30 yrs ago, they can do it now ☮

Just bought my first Challenger this past week. 2018 GT, same model as you got here. I'm in New England so I get that shitty winter weather too. Roads are pretty dense around here so you can't exploit anything fast anyway - GT's the perfect car for what I need, really looking forward to picking it up next week. That red suede interior is fking awesome, I'm seriously considering it for the future, hahah.

My wife has a Loaded, Yellow 2017 Challenger GT Awd. She loves the car. It had no problem, going through. 21" inches of Mn. Snow. Plus in the summer time. It gets 26.8 Mpg City/Hwy.

i got a GT for the look and AWD. but if the v8 awd like they did with the 300 that would be the flex for us living in climates that demand AWD. all in all though last winter had 0 issues getting to and from where i need to go. the GT give that confidence that is lost in putting 380+ horse power strictly to the rear wheels

I like the Challenger GT because it’s all wheel drive if I were to get the Dodge challenger RT especially his rear wheel drive will be back for the winter

I own a 2019 Challenger GT in Go Mango and I have a few faults with it. The paint job is really bad, looks like pin pricks in the paint. You can see it in a certain light. The rear tail lights are made of cheap plastic. I've seen plastic toys for kids that look better. Last is the piss poor around town gas milage. I'm getting 12mpg! That's a bit more than my 2013 Challenget R/T with it's 5.7 hemi.

Hey. Nice vid. What about GT acceleration? I have this decision problems between GT and RT as some guys from the comments. Here in Ukraine sometimes winter becomes a mess and GT seems like just for my country, but i`m in love with RT. GT is good, but some guys say that its very slow and boring. I talked to guys with RT in Ukraine and they say that its ok drive RT in winter times, but GOOD winter tires is a must. What can you say as the owner of GT and hellcat. Is RWD challenger drivable at the winter or its a headache and GT is the best solution? And what real MPG?

I appreciate it💯. My Hellcat is terrible in the snow, and I don’t drive it in the snow. The GT is only pushing 305 hp, so it’s definitely slower than the R/T. Here in Michigan, I do see people driving R/T’s in the winter, but the GT is the best bet for winter conditions, but if you need that hemi engine and hemi sound than the R/T is better than the more powerful mopar cars in the snow. I would go with RT, I’ve never heard of that version of the GT. To my knowledge the GT is only AWD. I would always recommend the RT over the GT if you live in a state that doesn’t have weather that requires a AWD car💯

I would also recommend you test driving a RT, that’s the entry level to the V8, and hearing that growl when you take off is something else bro! Also you can’t look at it like it’s strictly for racing, because I daily drive a Hellcat Challenger now, and so do a lot of other people. Also I think the RT would be better for you, because you live in TX, the GT is AWD fitted for snow, and all seasons. The good thing is both GT and RT are usually around the same price, but either way, you can’t go wrong fr fr because they both dope cars💯. With all that being said, make sure you SUBSCRIBE if you haven’t already, because I got more dope content on the way with GT and the Hellcat💪🏽✊🏽.
