The improvements to Universe mode have me torn. The more championships and the ability to attach managers to superstars or teams so they would default come out and not have to make it that way. Ive wanted those for years. This year I was looking for two things really. Wargames match and I was hoping to get More legends like Million Dollar man who we got. IRS Yokozuna and Hulk. So one hand I got the Universe mode I want but not my two wants so im torn. I might get around Black Friday or Rumble when its on sale

The game needs to allow gamers the ability to control the camera, while watching a match. Having the cam set in one position sucks, would love to have total control of the cam system for better experience. full 360 viewing angle, with zooming in and out, but Instead 2k is giving us big head wrestlers, wtf

I actually think 2k17 is when it started getting good gameplay wise, this iteration brought the rollout feature, finally making the game fun to play with more than two people, not to mention the new ladder match, and the new table feature, before the table feature, tables were a pain in the ass, and we finally got the backstage brawls back, I'd say 2k15 and 16 were more about putting the foundations in place for the things that would come in the few years down the road. Everyone likes to crap on 2k, but how long have they been making a simulation wrestling game? This is the 5th installment. Games like Madden, NBA 2k, and Fifa are good because they've been coming out for 20 plus years. Imagin this game in 15 years, not to mention wrestlings more than just what goes on in the ring

Thanks for this. I was honestly excited about this before the roster was even revealed, my first game in a while, am I disappointed not everyone I thought would be in? Of course. But thats what CC is for. I honestly hope what ppl are saying is “better” is NOT the big heads & other shit like that, cuz I wont even use those, but it is a GREAT roster imo, plus dlc so thats great value, & I LOVE the new commentary additions & universe looks cool, so I’m happy. Could it be better? Yes, but if it was perfect there would be no reason to buy the next game, so we’ll see what 2K20 offers.

Will you be releasing a video talking about some of the negatives? I just fell like even though this game is looking great, it still feels like a stepping stone to 2K20 in some ways. Plus there are still things in this game that need to be fixed or added. I just feel like we still need to show 2K that even tho they have reached a certain standard in some ways, they still aren't all clear yet. Certain banners, mini-trons and titan-trons need to be added (Shawn Michael's 2005 defiantly needs his modern banner, mini-tron and titan-tron, as does Mysterio mini-tron and floor-tron wise). But u are right things are looking good this year. Here's hoping they can suss out the Ciampa, Kendrick, Murphy and Cross problem and maybe add them to the game via updates, something that would show that 2K is willing to go above and beyond for their fan-base and something that would put them in our good books again

Caleb Hoskins agree 100%, all we’re hearing about is how great it is and how much better, and while that may be true, it’s not s perfect game. Give us some objective views of the game with positives and negatives so we can make a decision before d-day. I saw this same stuff with nba 2k this year with a review embargo that was after the release date only to get a slightly improved game.

I’m talking from a perspective of having 3 hours playing. What I got to do was great. I’ll give a full review a week or two after launch. As for roster omissions, it’s down to WWE. WWE pays them to use their likeness and then sells then on to 2K. But if you’re in NXT or 205 Live, you end up getting less than main roster. They thought they were worth more so they declined

I don't get y 2k can't add new wrestlers down the road they do patches a few times this would make the game feel current so 2k couldn't do things cuz of deadlines but with the patches we can get Corbin no hair and we can get ciampa cross Kendrick Murphy at some point or b team current atirres new debuts riddle and Lee things like this should be available

Played it on release...Visually entertaining although some characters are outdated and some look way better than others...Still. Heres the deal. Fans want real change. This series has not changed much year after year by 2k standards and being a sports developer their trying to keep it that way just improve on their base product year after year just like all the other sports titles they produce. That's obvious. Why would they anyway their not going to give fans a completely different game year after year. The only change that's going to please most fans is a drastic one. Which is a completely new company takes over the franchise. Which I've seen alot of fans complain about 2k taking it on. I couldn't agree more. Pro wrestling is not a SPORT... its entertainment. A developer like 2k should wash their hands clean of wwe titles all together. The fun was sucked out of these immediately when 2k took over to make it more like a simulation type game. This series has become so repetitive that it's hard to believe the wwe continue to go down this road having a sports developer continue to make these games and not another take it on that has nothing to do with sports titles what so ever. Time for change is a must for this series. Not even a full day in and I feel like I've played this game 6 or 7 times over year after year....well I guess we kinda have to some degree.

Henry Robles for me, this years game (standard edition) is worth the standard asking price, but it sux to have to pay an extra $30 just for a few more characters. I want the full game and everything it has to offer, so to me it makes sense to support rockstar and rdr2 while waiting on a wwe price drop. The season pass will never decrease in price so I’ll wait for the game to be discounted so that I get my money’s worth. In the end, take 2 is getting it all but I’d rather fully support the game and studio that doesn’t make me feel like I took one with no Vaseline lol

The most fun wrestling games are the ones that had a good balance between fast paced and slow paced gameplay. Who really cares about 2K Showcase mode? Who cares about 2K Towers? 2K Towers is a boring concept. Nothing innovative and I never really cared for Showcase mode. I don't get why everyone is still pumping this game out like it's already hot shit. Reality is it won't have long lasting fun to keep playing months and years from now. Where's GM Mode? Where's I Quit Match? Special Guest Referee? Buried Alive Match? Inferno? Game is just taking baby steps which is a huge disappointment

2K17 was the best release in the WHOLE series as far as match mechanics is involved. Then, they fracked up by dumbing down the suicide dive and nixing 2K Tonight mode. I can watch WWE on tv if I want to, I don’t need to watch their crappy and corny segments on my game. Leave recreating moments/telling stories to the players!

I had 2k18 fr a month on ps4. Got rid of it. I have r vs s 2010. Get rid of older games, realize how good they were, get again & keep. The older were different year to year & playable. 2k concerned w realism, although women can pick up 200 lbs steel steps & super heavyweights slammed w ease by heavyweights.

The last wwe game I bought was svr2007 and even from then to now the characters graphics is still bad and the way they fight is still the same. If you look at fifa, the players look almost exactly the same as real life or they even have other better games with better graphics. They need to do that with this game. Also I remember the game 11 years ago the career mode went so far, I heard these days it auto ends at wrestlemania. What's the point in that? There's plenty of improvements left. How fifa has been the last 2-3 years graphics wise, I don't see wwe games doing that maybe even next year or some time next decade. The game has improved a lot yes but they need to make the wrestlers look more like how they look in person. Maybe get in frostbite engine or an even better one. This is still one of those broken games. The game I got 11 years ago even had a great sound track, probably the best ever in a video game

Looking forward to 2k19. I'm actually interested in my career mode, universe mode, and the towers. The million dollar challenge is something that tons of people are going to attempt and I know I'm definitely giving that a shot. I noticed from create an arena videos that they haven't added the stage parts that they have been using for the ppv's this year but if look at 2k18, that stuff might be added in patches through the life of the game. That's another thing I'm looking forward to in 2k19 is to see what stuff they add through patches.

Up to you. MyCareer has changed drastically, 2K Showcase is back, Universe Mode has lots of little tweaks and improvements that add to the depth of it, 2K Towers gives some challenges and unlockables. There’s certainly a lot going on.
