I haven't ridden RadMission but because I also own Ariel Rider Rideal which has been a few days now and what I see as a direct competition to this bike I can say without any hesitation Ariel Rider Rideal is just simply amazing, rock solid and just full of raw power. Also because it has got 6 gears its definitely a lot more capable of climbing those steep hills . The electric motor is also one of the best I have come across . Its super smooth, super quiet and very responsive no wonder it's a Japanese motor. Battery is again where it shines being a 48 volts 14 Am which is one of the highest capacity I have yet to see at this price point. In short Ariel Rider Rideal just kills RadMission in all department and according to me is a winner

4 months after owning my Rad Mission, I regret the purchase. I've had my brakes fail suddenly for no reason resulting in collisions, I've had to replace rotors and pads often. The chain tensioner is the stupidest fucking thing ever and is always drifting into the spokes of my back wheel. The battery charging female port is coming off too. Customer service is garbage too. Between getting a replacement part and making the request for that part, weeks can go by. Oh, let's not mention how the bottom bracket has always creaked and feels like it's going to push through the frame anytime I pedal.

I love mine! I like that it is fixed gear and simple so there will be problems. If you live in a flat area and don't need gears I highly recommend it. The Rad customer service is great also. I've also owned an Aventon bike and have had the exact opposite experience with customer service

my wife absolutely loves the one we bought for her. no issues at all and she loves the ease of use. She really feels like she is riding a unassisted bike. She puts it in assist 1 and uses the throttle for quickly crossing intersections. We have gone 20 miles on trails and barely used up battery. Lots of hills where we live and we are in our early sixties. No way we get out together and enjoy the area we live in without a ebike like this. I ride a emx extreme from Fabulous. A canadian company and have just as happy with that too:) Long live ebike!

I've had my Mission (blue, mens frame) for just about a year now. My wife's (orange, ladies) is approaching 2 years old. Absolutely love them for what we want to do. Ride to a store, out for breakfast, or to a nearby state park. They make short trips fast and effortless. We added the fender kit, front basket, rear rack, and kickstand to both bikes. Also found more comfortable seats. The original Rad seat is not well padded. And you think you can take it, but quickly realize, you're hitting bumps at 20mph, no suspension, in an upright position. You will hurt your back. Suspension post or a sprung seat, for all riders. Brakes: solid and strong. Expect to adjust frequently. Carry a 5mm hex key on the road even if you have nothing else. Thanks for the review, it's right on target.

As someone who uses the mission all the time for commute, it's great. I live in a mountain town right next to rmnp in Colorado, and it handles everything I throw at it. It's even doing great in the winter, peddle assist 1 gets me through plowed roads with no issue. Can even hammer the throttle sometimes without fishtailing too much. After a year of commuting on it I see no point in upgrading, although I am gonna upgrade the bike itself. I'm thinking a higher wattage bafang motor, fat studded tires for the winter, normal tires in summer, and there's a great bike shop up here that i plan on having install a suspension fork and geared sprockets. I'm going to make this dinky little bike an absolute unit lol

I watched this about a month after getting my RadMission. I really like it so far and agree with all your points. It's my first Ebike and is living up to my expectations in every regard. Someday I'll get around to installing the cargo rack but for now I'll just use my non-electric bike when I need that capacity. I'm sure riding that bike will be humbling after getting used to super-human strength.

Mine comes tomorrow can’t wait. I’ll be putting it together myself so, I hope the video is thorough enough for a know nothing. I ordered a big cushy seat and an inexpensive suspension bar from Amazon as well as Rad fenders and two mirrors (the right from Amazon as well but, it’s the same shape!! AND, very importantly, a KICKSTAND that is compatible off of Amazon as one is unavailable from Rad. I am so happy to be biking again.

Rideal is a beast especially I am truly impressed with it's motor which has excellent torque , super quiet and very responsive and it's not some Chinese motor but a real Japanese one. Also important is it has metal gears which is less prone to breakdown as oppose to nylon gears. RadMission stand no chance against Rideal and will blow it out of the park

It's a sleek bike. If I didn't have a Radrunner already, I seriously would have considered this one. 😊 For a lovely lady like Kara I would also suggest RadCity Step-tru (or just RadCity). It is $500 more expensive and somewhat "uglier" but has some pros compared to this one: 1. Upright body position, like a Dutch "comfort" bike. Adjustable stem which is kinda a big deal. 😊 2. Rack, fenders, kickstand and comfortable saddle included in price. No need to buy a suspension seat post (unless it's too short). $350-400 save right there. 3. Front suspension. The 2.3 inch tires are a little too much for a city bike but... to each their own. 4. 750 W motor and more powerful battery. 5. 7 gears 6. 26 inch tires compared to the 27.5 of the RadMission. This is probably not an advantage but worth noticing, some people like smaller wheels for their agility. 7. White "lady" color. 😊 So, you see, those $500 rapidly vanished in those options. 🙏 I would, however, definitely take this RadMission because I even like the grey color. 😊

A very informative video you made here, it helped me decide to buy one. Still need to put on the fenders and rear rack though. And yet to put on another seat but this one works for the 5 miles to work and home. I'll probably use this as a casual riding bike as I got my Rad City delivered yesterday it is faster and will work a little better for commuting back and forth to work.

This model is sold out and discontinued, so who is going to read this? Wonderful product, exceeding expectations. Two best points are smooth integration of electric assist and to my surprise I can pedal it so easily I keep checking to assure electric assist is off. I tend to turn off motor went going with the wind or downhill. Two bad points, mirror is hard to adjust unless you want view of your arm or shoulder and i bought medium size frame since large was sold out.

Whats the mile range with no pedaling, throttle only on a full charge.?????
@EbikeEscape2 жыл бұрын
My estimate would be around 20 miles but that's going to depend also on a lot of different factors.
Not too bad on the flats but terrible uphill as we are only allowed the 250W in Europe. Using mine for food delivery. The gear ratio is just too high.
@EbikeEscape2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the 250 watt definitely limits things.
