2K25 is the worst 2k I've ever played and I've been playing since 2k17. I see lots of cheaters in starting 5. I'm over 70% to starter 2 and I gave up on 2k25. Rec is unplayable with randoms. 2k25 is exactly how cheeser KZbinrs want it to be. It allows them to make dribble God sniper builds and it allows them to green contested shots consistently, so they can abuse exploits to win and get clips easier. I believe 2k added legend badges and added inflation to the builder to make it far easier to mess up our builds, so they can make more money from VC. AI and randoms miss nearly every wide-open shot from my HOF dimer. We've been asking for a vote to kick option for many years, but I believe 2k will only continue to ruin the game, so I give up on it. Undisputed is releasing in days, so I'll be on that, so I won't have to rely on teammates.

@@MoneySide2K I have a long list of things that ruin 2k25, but some key things are builder inflation. Steals overpowering passing. I have 85 passing and I think dimer is the only passing badge I get on gold and I use the 1 up perk to get it on HOF, but ai and human players still brick nearly every wide open shot from HOF dimer. The steals seem to be random instead of skill based. I don't get steals and the ball doesn't go loose while bums are dribbling the ball into my player a lot, but cheesers steal the ball from me by spamming square while they are out of position for a steal even while I hold post control. You already know the shooting is horrible and that's why I believe it's lots of cheaters because they green nearly every contested shots, even off dribble. I could write a book about all of the problems with 2k25, but 2k doesn't care, so I'm moving on to other games.

Random rec has become unplayable. They put you with bots and you play all reds or you get Centers that sit paint and sell the game clogging the lane. Pgs don’t play defence and start standing out of bounds. People calling time outs on each other cause of silly things. Rec has literally became the worst rec in history of 2K. Some things that have plagued 2k for the past few years are catching the ball while running at full speed and then stopping for some reason to take a standing layup or dunk which causes you to miss shots if you aren't on a build that's over 6'6" with high standing dunk or close shot. Fouls not being called consistently and when they are called it's either an animation that doesn't allow you to score the ball or it's a clean block that gets called, so you have no opportunities to get and 1 plays. Offensive rebounds are broken if you get a good contest, the person who misses their layup or dunk almost always grabs the ball immediately after missing. Blocks are broken so if you're a big man and you do happen to time your block correctly, you're punished by just getting a contest and 9/10 times the shot is going in and is a low contested shot. The worst of all is no build variation. They've added all kinds of build names into 2k but it doesn't really matter because you're locked to specific stats at certain heights and weights. You can get maybe two or three attributes into the 90s and then you have to make everything else mid and you're being punished because you can't even get gold or HOF badges for stats that have high badge requirements that mean you have to make a build that's one dimensional. The old badge system was much better because you could choose what badges you wanted and when you wanted them. I miss being able to make a build that could actually play both sides of the ball at a high level. PG used to be a fun position to play but now you can't get any assists, you can barely hit open threes and you can't even go into the paint because it's impossible to score inside. The final thing that has made 2k almost unplayable is the fact that stats don't matter and they haven't in a long time. I usually make sf builds that can finish at the rim, block shots and grab boards and hit open 3s or middys. I made the same kind of build this year. Somehow people with much lower dunk ratings are rim running and finishing every time they go up but I go in wide open and 2k makes me slow down of stop and take a standing layup attempt. I've never had this issue as much as this year and even when I do get to the rim, I go for a dunk and somehow I'm missing because someone teleports to me and gets a ghost contest from behind. I go to grab rebounds and the ball falls below me to a 6'1" pg that's standing around the paint. A smaller player goes up on me and I time the block and get it, the ball just goes right back into their hands and they get a free dunk anyways. Stats just do not matter anymore because people are making all around builds that are average in most stats yet they still win every 50/50. With a 96 driving dunk and hof posterizer, why can't I dunk on a center who has an 87 block and silver paint patroller even when I have the correct angle to the rim. It's pretty telling when I'm averaging a double double on rec in 2k22 and 2k23 and then in 2k24 and 2k25 I can't even score 10 points on rec anymore unless I'm cherry picking.

I made a build with a 96mid and a 93 three pointer and I was missing alot, I got my hot spots and my HOF badges and I really don't miss at all even if I miss time it a little.

The fact that you need all that to make a wide open is nuts. If you look at the 3pt ratings of actual players in the game, they are not even that high! KD doesn’t have a 93 3pt, same with Luka, kyrie and even dame….

That mode is trash too! I enjoyed it in 24 but 25 it’s trash… Everyone uses the Celtics and I played a dude that had a zen. He shot only contested. I was convinced he wanted me to know he had a zen lol

Animation gameplay is the issue. it takes away from gameplay and puts movement all on the stat system......Your not controlling the player 70% of the time..... This is why the new Boxing Game Undisputed is trash also .It looks A+ but plays D-.....cause its animations....and movement is based on stats.

Nothing's good....except the Visuals............2K isn't about good or bad features as much as it's about 2K going the Teen/Arcady route.......instead of evolving into a True basketball sim by now....... I stopped playing 2K 5yrs ago..... Curry build ruined the game....and monetization..... The park and rec are full of hood children.....who are slow minded and don't pass........ 2K was ruined years ago

the only game modes that aren’t sweaty are theater and rec the servers are just trash tho 2k they’re some small company and can’t make a good game. maybe if they didn’t kill off nba live they’d have actual good ideas to pull from
