I shaved my head shiny bald 2 months ago in support of my favorite aunt. Now that I work remotely, I’d just take my laptop, work from her house and leave after dinner. When I casually walked in her house with a matching bald she was soooo surprised and once the initial shock wore off she was constantly touching my lumpy head laughing and saying “wow”. She recently lost her battle and now I’m the only bald female in the family. It’s kind of a weird and lonely feeling but I don’t regret doing it ... Sometimes I wish I did it sooner. @@SatshyaTharien My hair feels damaged and I've dyed it more than 4 times. I dyed it ginger once and it keeps turning red no matter what I do with it and it has split ends and falls out a lot. It seems like it won't grow past my mid back. It falls out when I run my hand through it and when I pull excess from the ends. My scalp itches and I pull stuff out of it and I feel it is time to shave it and wear a wig when I go out in public. Will my hair be healthier if I shave it? Is there a possibility it won't grow back at all? I'm worried about that. I'm only 20 years old

It sounds to me like if you hadn't shaved your head, you would instead have shaved away years of your life being with a man like that. If he abandoned you so easily over something so small that was your personal choice and did not harm him in any way, imagine how quickly he would've left if you ever got in an actual problem and he actually had to deal with issues. Thank your stars you made that decision you got to see his true colours now instead of in a situation when you were vulnerable.

@@noon9531 Yes. Given that you are massaging with coconut oil and stuff. If you are facing baldness, you may need to use minoxidil lotion. It definitely grows better if you do these.

i shaved my head on Jun 13, 2024 AND YOU KNOW WHAT ITS SO EMPOWERING. My parents didn't agree at me planning for this but gradually they did say a yes!! and here i shaved it completely. I didn't feel any kind of fault in shaving head rather its too empowering, it makes to know who you actually are. But yes those relatives, friends and people are always gonna say what they expect from you but do what you want babes. Exploring new things is really fun and I am really enjoying it. And the happiest part...my parents really did support my decision and so didn't let go alone in this journey. My hair is growing back good and I love it the way it is sprouting😄

I shaved my head five years ago and kept it shaved (slick at times) the whole time, except a couple of times I had a very short (quarter inch) boy fade. I had very long hair all my life. I loved it. I want to grow it back out now just because I’m tired of it but I also don’t want to have to style it or all of the care…but I can’t get past the boy fade cut without being tired of it and shaving it off. I want the look of my long hair but I LOVE the ease of not having to worry about it and the freedom of being bald. I don’t know what I want to do anymore. It’s a definite test to grow it back out. Every time it gets more than two weeks of growth I can’t stand the feeling of it and shave it again so there’s no progress with growing it out. I’m at the point where I want my hair to grow now. At one point I was completely bald not on purpose I did that on accident lol but I’ve shaved my head about 3 times now. I hope anyone I date will be okay about that because it’s my coping mechanism. Hopefully I get to the point where I can grow it out though. As someone who has had a pixie cut earlier, I do understand the pains of growing out a pixie cut. I grew it out faster by taking biotin, and settled for a short bob. You should do what you wanna do. A lot of people had "opinions" on what I should do with my hair and its best to take their advice with a pinch of salt

@@vaigaunni9571 I went to barber shop. He shaved my head. Well it's been half years since I shaved my head. The growth of my hair is pretty good. I used to straighten my hair a lot and it had become very dry. Now my hair is not that dry.. My hair is neck length. I had trimmed (1inch) my hair a month ago. By the end of this month it's going to be 2nd year. If you shave your head you'll have bob length in the 1st year, neck length in the 2nd year and in the 3rd year you'll have chest length . It takes complete 3 years to grow hair in a proper length.

I face the problem of weird hairstyle most of the time. I usually get my hair cut everytime almost to a boy cut and when it grows out most of the time my hair at the back is longer. There are days when you feel amazing with your haircut and some days not. And the constant confusion whether to let it grow out and have a few weeks of bad hairstyle or just cut it back short. Haven’t yet shaved my head, but having short hair itself feels empowering and you feel different and special from a crowd. If I do have a regret it is the fact that I can’t do the “hair flip” back at other girls but otherwise it’s worth the sacrifice:)

@@priyajessy it's been 3 months and it grew only 1 inch. I must say I'm not satisfied. But I am sure I'll feel better once it's reached averages length. Time seems to pass really slow when I think about my hair. But if I keep myself busy with my daily life, it does it's work well (if that makes any sense 😅)

I have i bit curly hairs, so i have to straight them every mounth.. Today i went to a unknown saloon, i never went there before, i ask to straight my hairs by straighting cream, not with the straightener, he start his work and he does a hair cut first, and then he start the straighting process and he put something else in that cream.. Then he start combining my hairs and the cream was still on my hair.. When comb for the first time i can see my hairs coming up in comb.. I was like wtf, then my head start burning, and i have to shave my head, Thats why i am here watching this video.. I am going to file a case against that fucking idiot

I am thinking of going for a headshave (to donate to cancer patients' wig) and also some of the reasons in this video. I do feel quite nervous now. But i know i have to do this as an honour to someone close to me whom I lost to cancer. My family is kind of aversive still.but hopefully they will fully understand my obligations. @@vaigaunni9571 shaved at my home. But i see nowadays that some parlours offer a free headshave (sorry i do not know the names so u will have to search). It was an incredible experience..now my hairs have grown back but one thing is that i am never ever going to be insecure about my looks. Feels more powerful and more connected to my inner self than appearance. Just one suggestion. Do not try razor to shave ur head..go for trimmer (i tried razor and my scalp has been super dry since then). I am trying to reverse it by regular oiling..

@@harshapriyadarshini6997 i used to have very straight and smooth hair till i was in 8th class( 12yrs old ) and i shaved my hair because of excessive hairfall i must say my hairfall literally stopped ,..but sadly my hair turned curly and frizzy and now i am 20 yrs old and i have really long curly hair , 😌 miss old days when i used to have straight hair but curly hair are also pretty !!!
