I've used a 70l backpack since DL 2013 and it's extremely comfortable even when full. Also a little tip for keeping clothes dry and easier to pack, put them in vacuum bags!

Seems like a good list if you like camping. If, like me, you have no inclination or time to cook and prefer to be out of the tent as much as possible, then a good quality 2-3 man tent is the way to go. Wastes less space on the campsite, lighter and easier to pitch. I bought a 'fresh and black' pop up tent from Decathlon this year and it was perfect -the lining blocks out the light so you can go to bed at 3:30 and sleep until 9 without the 6am sun and heat waking you up

Great tent - I have the Sendairo 5 which is the slightly bigger air version of yours. I've used it every year since 2016 and it's been brilliant. In 2016 when the storms were destroying people's tents, mine stood it's ground and never leaked once

my first ever download, hopefully got everything :D We got the Shadow 350 Nightfall from go-outdoors for £70 on offer reduced from £200! We're going to try get a spot at Green camp with a few friends :D We will have a dark blue gazebo if you notice us :)

I’m going to Download for the first time and your videos are really good for noobies like myself hahahaha I would appreciateif you could do a video about the camping sites. For example, what’s the difference between the blue and yellow sites? Is the rip camping area for whoever is gonna party 24/7? 😂

Total shift in the site now so the camps will be different. Essentially, closer to the village, the louder, busier it is, with more of a party atmosphere. I’ve been going on/off since 2007, and usually would be the nearest to the village. RIP packages are more for comfort, so tends to be quieter I believe.

i have a question oO/ do u secure the entrance to your tent when at the arena with a padlock or something ? if yes what do you use ? download 2023 will be my first ever festival at a pitiful age of 32

I’ve never had to secure my tent, although I have heard stories of people have things stolen it’s never happened to anyone I know so I would say not to bother just don’t bring lots of expensive stuff with you lol, thanks for watching 🤘🏻
