Just came back from Bali. Actually if you shop at a local mart, eat at local shops not cafes, the cost of living is way cheaper. Don't need to stay in a villa, a decent condo or apartment will do. Their grab is significantly cheap. But I have to admit, their shopping is becoming more expensive. Did my groceries at one of the big indomart, very cheap. To each their own way of life i guess.

i didn't give any. but i ask them to keep the change when i took transport like Grab (southeast asia version of uber). went to restaurant, didn't tip as well. @@lisalee3490

You're absolutely right. For expats from Europe, living in Bali or other big cities are not too expensive. But for me as local it's sometimes not affordable because of low salary or income average.

100$ a day cost lower level life in March 2024 + fly 1500$ + very small house they call „villa” 2-3k$ so at least 5k$ a month is higher like in south Europe but very low standard compare to Europe

Useful video, thanks 🙏. Bali life and the relative cost of living does look appealing! I read that the cost of a property in Bali tends to be quite low too, but I’m not sure of the laws in buying something as a foreigner out there (I’m from U.K.). Definitely a good idea to invest in the long term too, but I think it’s also important for viewers to understand trading is not the same as investing. I assume you do the latter though, which is the tried and trusted for people putting their money to work.

Buying property is tricky as a foreigner, because you can't own land - so you have to agree to a lease with a local Balinese person, and I've heard about a lot of people getting ripped off/ scammed. I'd probs steer clear, but if you do go ahead then try and get at least a 25 year lease, and have it agreed with a proper lawyer.

Siapa sih yg mau ke Indo. Saya aja ingin lari dr Indo. Org Indo ngga ramah. Sekarang ini banyak motor yang menggunakan knalpot yang disebut racing. Knalpot ini lubangnya besar sekali dan asapnya meletup - letup. Knalpot ini sengaja dihadapkan ke atas belakang sehingga wajah orang yang di belakang menjadi sasaran. Motor- motor ini tak ramah kepada sesama pengguna jalan. Turis asing pun pada kecewa setelah datang ke Indonesia yg mayoritasnya islam terkenal ramah, katanya, tapi mendapati motor motor dgn knalpot yg asapnya mengenai wajah mereka. Mereka merasa orang Indonesia tak ramah. Turis asing jadi malas datang lg ke Indonesia.
