As an older person, I found this testament to prudent living refreshing. What was less clear is whether Marcos doesn't seek to live larger because he does not have any desire or need to do so or whether he is simply incredibly self-disciplined. Or perhaps he is saving his money for travel; I don't think his most recent Instagram reels were shot anywhere near the Long Island Railroad line.

There’s nothing more heartbreaking then seeing your pet in a plastic cone after a surgical procedure. So glad that, like me, you discovered the soft memory foam collar. So worth 20 bucks. Oh and the Canon showed noticeably more detail in the background. Check the door on the left as you switched back and forth.

In a million years our lives would never have crossed…. and here I am watching a 21 year old in NYC living his best life! I find it fascinating to see how others are living. I did on-call also as a Software Engineer for a little over 1 year, but then I couldn't handle it anymore because of too many calls during the night (2, 3, 4, 5 AM). At the start it was good, because it meant more money (although it was fixed pay, regardless of the number of incidents). But then it started being from 1 week every 1,5 months to 1 week per month; then 2 weeks per month and I started getting burned out. Be careful to not let on-call affect your health.

That sounds more like support than software engineer and was a toxic company. I've worked as software engineer for many years and mostly you never have to do overtime Edit: woops I didn't see you mention on-call. We don't even have those job descriptions where I'm from. Interesting. I guess it's the kind of projects that requires such an incident thing

I really like the look and feel the Sony produces. Its crisp and clear. The Canon is more moody and almost as if it has a mood filter built in. Which can be appropriate for certain videos. Your meals look great tbh. Take care friend 💙💜

I feel so much better health wise when I make food at home and I will freeze a lot of leftovers so that food waste isn’t a big issue. But yeah groceries are so expensive in NYC but eating food out here that’s cooked in cheap oils is not worth it. Try looking into freezing unused ingredients or full meals so they act like “frozen dinners” when you need them!

I would say the shoes are legit for a weekly cost as it is part of your clothing allowance. Larger purchases such as the camera would be quarterly and thus you could divide the cost by 13 weeks. Your rent is high but you probably don't own a car which would be an equal trade off. That would put you around $700 for the week or $3000 for the month which is probably in the middle of the spectrum for NYC.

Loving this type of week in the life content! Inspiring to see that you get out and are pretty active even on work days. I personally find it really hard to find the motivation to exercise with remote work. Loki is the cutest! Splurges on cats are never a waste of money! 🥰 Sony camera looks much better. Lightning looks brighter, color contrast doesn't look as harsh as the current camera, feels more professional, you look more awake (skin looks really nice with Sony). And the slightly blurred background on the Sony looks great. That said, Idk if it's worth $2.5k... maybe if you sell the current one, it'll be easier to justify the upgrade.

I think the skin tones from the Canon are more flattering. They give you a hint of a tan. Perhaps the Sony colours can be adjusted for a similar effect.

I lived in a small town with pretty much only Starbucks for coffee shops until recently I moved to a bigger town with many local coffee shops. Since I learned the greatnesses of other coffee shops, I never go back to Starbucks lol.

Feels like it is a very expensive life in NYC. I spend around 110 k rubles in Moscow which is appx 1400 USD per month even with dining out, but I own a flat here.
