Aint gunna lie. Personally i love fixing things. I mean I am a technician, but even growing up I loved when my mom or sister wanted me to fix something for them. Especially my mom cause she normally did things on her own so when I knew she couldnt do it or she allowed someone to help her, it made it that much more of a mission to complete. As I mature and grow as a person, but mostly as a man, ive been able to apply this part of my personality to relationships outside of my home as well as apply it in the real world, like the work place. Thank God for older people and their wisdom and the lessons ive learned in understanding how to go about engaging a woman when it comes to these very natural tendencies of mine. Over the years you learn that just wanting to fix things doesnt exactly have anything to do with most of what your lady counterpart wants. So obtaining the skill of active listening and learning compassion has been quite an interesting journey. Keep the good videos coming steve and folks like him...some of us like takin notes.

Fantastic. Indeed women do not want solutions and fixes first and foremost, they can hire a professional for that. They want to feel connection and confide emotionally. Often, she already knows what to do, but she wants to share and confide/release the feelings that hurt her heart to her partner. So when he tells her what to do instead of respond with empathy to her feelings, she maybe feels patronised and not listened to, and as a result even sadder than before.

If he doesnt pursue u, see a problem and want to fix it... very true. If hes not planning for future, seeing where u been alone or strugglin.. if hes not invested.. u know. If u question, u pretty much know the answer. Also learned, he can love , u can love them ,but if they do not have courage, or if not mature enough, or not willing to sacrifice. If they wont, then walk. Very true. Some of us had no example. And moms dont always teach. Some moms dont want us to find love. anyways learned hard way. But those are keys things to look for. These make the difference. We need voices like steve to speak as a man, husband and father.. ty.

Yes i agree i tolded my ex from day one dont say you're doing to do something and dont do it dont say things you dont mean and dont make promises you can't keep. My ex would always say he going to or we going to do things some times he would keep his words then he stop keeping his words and promises broken them.i got so so tried of keeping tell him how i feel about him not keeping his words and broken promises and he always sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry and keep doing the same things over and over over again i got tried of it i walked away from the relationship i stopped calling and texting him i didn't care anymore and i tolded him i dont trust nothing he say to me any more at that time. i cant be with no man i cant trust i was done done and done. God showed me who he really was he is not for me. I deserve better and God knows who best for me the right husband. Im so happy that i walked away from my ex about 10 or 11months ago of course he want me back. No no no im great and happy and free not going backwards i moved on forward im not settling for less or wasting my time on no men no way. Exactly! I used to love a guy and I don't know why: he wasn't pretty, he wasn't rich, he wasn't funny, he wasn't that smart, he never made me feel special, he always told me how his ex was better than me and I forgave him all of that, even when he started talking to his ex again. He could cancel our date and I was Ok with that, I thought I am too needy and he has more important things to do than to talk to me and one day I discovered that someone from my family whom I really love had a cancer. I really needed his support and I wanted feel loved because I was really vulnerable. I told him everything and he told me he would meet me. I baked a cake and I wanted him to know that I appreciate that he is with me and how much I love him and at my lowest and he never showed up even though he told me he would. I asked him and he told me "shoot I forgot I had a plan with my friends, then I was playing computer games and I just lost track of time and then I had to meet my high school class mates thus I forgot". Really? So people you saw last time 10 years ago are more important than me? Your games are more important than me? And ofc he didn't pick up his phone so I was staying outside where we agreed to meet with my cake. I cried like crazy, I felt like I was betrayed. I told him if I am so unimportant to you let's breakup and he agreed. I wanted to call him and beg him to come back but some part of me told me not to do so. So, instead I bought a ticket to travel and I met so many guys who told me that I was pretty and that I am an amazing person and they wanted to date me. Ofc, I know that it is just phrases that guys tell girls to get laid but I understood that he is not the only one. When I came back and saw him, I understood I couldn't care less. I thought I wanted a boyfriend with whom I can talk about anything, tell him my deepest secrets and I found one the problem is he never loved me I told him my secrets and fears and he didn't care.
