Hi AJ, I thoroughly enjoyed Elementary, I’m still hopeful that it will wind up on blu-ray one day 🤞 I’ve yet to star Squid Games but I’m not in a big hurry as I have half a dozen shows on the go at the moment 😬 I’m uncertain on the Dexter Prequel and now there’s an upcoming Dexter season with Michael C Hall returning to the role 🧐 nice to hear a bit of praise for Kraven for a change.nice one mate, take care👍😃👍

I was cautious going into Dexter. But it works. Whether that’s helped by Michael C Hall producing. Who knows. But certainly adds to it him voicing over. It’s worth sticking with. And far better than ‘New blood’. Yeah Kraven. It’s probably my favourite of the Sony films. Was it needed. Not really. But curtailing not the disaster people have made out

Just yesterday watched the Terrifier trilogy. Idk why it took me so long to see them, I actually have to get them for the collection. They're good horror fun but are pretty brutal and gruesome. Being made independently they got away with a lot of stuff that I don't think hollywood would even humor. Lol. Squid Game S1 was pretty good. I have to watch the second season soon.

S2 is good. You know what. I have terrified 1 and 2 and have never watched them. I keep meaning to get around to them and see what all the fuss is about - so you would recommend them then

@ajsmovieplace The first movie is very low budget, but done really well for a low budget film. I personally liked the first movie the best. The 2 and 3 are made much, much better but are far more sick in the gruesome department than the first. I would say they are gore movies made for the shock value. There is a story but it doesn't shine much, basically it's about evil and a growing light that was chosen to defeat said evil. I would recommend it, if sick movies don't bother you. If you do have a problem with extreme gore and brutal torture, I would say don't watch it.

@ yeah I don’t have an issue with Gore. But at the same time it doesn’t do anything for me. Horror isn’t really a genre I really enjoy because generally characterisation is non existent!

@ajsmovieplace You actually don't meet the main main character until the second movie, but that could be because the first movie was a passion project, and there was a chance it may not have gotten sequels. Overall, the main character is decent, but the real star of the movie is Art the Clown. Art doesn't have much of a motive for his brutality. It's just his nature to kill, and he finds it funny. David Hawthorn is brilliant in the role, if there is a reason to watch it it's him.

@ 😂😂😂. You must remember the days back when the cliffhanger was always a thing ( Star Trek was the primary show to thank with Best of both worlds. ). Then all shows relied on it for a good long while.
