I learnt toe up socks first, so comes easy for me. Always a pair of socks going, and one sweater project, cant stand having too many at once. Agree with you.

I prefer cuff down too. I believe some people prefer toe up because you can use all of your yarn if you want longer socks. No fear of running out of yarn. I never know when to start the heel, and love the fit of flap and gusset heels. So i stick to my same old approach.

Hmm at least that’s somewhat of a good reason but also I have never run out of yarn while knitting socks, I usually have a bunch leftover…

Toe up socks - easy cast on and you can try it on as you go…you'll have to try the sweet tomato heel, too! Ohhhh - I love that basket!

I haven’t tried toe up, but they are looking great! I have a couple of her patterns, so one day I’ll given it a go… 😅 🧦

It’s probably good to try it once… haha but I don’t love the process

Love your videos! What is the pattern for the sweater you are wearing in this video? It looks like a great project for 2025!

I refuse to knit a toe up sock, I don’t understand it either. Trying to get the foot to fit is near to impossible
