Hey guys!
Welcome back to my channel!
Today I wanted to chat a little about just a few things I've learned since living in the Netherlands. These are things I've experienced within the circle and frame of reference I've been exposed to. I really love living here and all it's taught me so far!
Hope you enjoy this video and will comment below your thoughts. :)

Most Dutch families and people in general have a fixed time schedule often. This is where the organizer comes in and why we tend to go for more free time and less for making more money.

It seems life is slower in the Netherlands and it's one thing I truly enjoyed about visiting there. I love the idea of living in an area where I can walk to get groceries or for pleasure. It's not always possible since our roads aren't set up for this. It is getting better here with bike paths and more sidewalks but still with our harsh winters the roads deteriorate fast.

this is so interesting, thanks for making this video :) I lived in the US for a while, but I was born and raised in the Netherlands. especially what you said about Dutch people being more aware of the value of things and time, is something I noticed as well. one more thing, I noticed that people rarely sit down in restaurants if there's also the option to get takeout at that particular restaurant. and people hardly ever sit outside if the weather is nice, like Dutch people do.

Hoi hoe gaat het met jou?😘 I’m Stefany from Chicago dating a Dutchman for four years now and will be moving to The Netherlands this summer 🇳🇱🙌🏼😍 I stumbled upon your channel and I’m so glad I did. I always wondered what was like for an American to live there and experience the cultural differences. I’m glad to hear that it’s been all positive. I can’t wait to watch all of your other videos! ☺️ And I also want to say that I agree with the first comment about the girls’ sense of fashion. I have visited The Netherlands 3 times now (just got back from there actually for spring break lol) and I can attest that for the most part, girls either wear black and white clothing, sneakers or boots, and just casually modest attire. I did learn to love it as well coming from a culture where girls often wear revealing, extravagant clothings like you mentioned for parties and such. But the Dutch girls have shown that just showing a little bit is the sexiest thing to a guy. So now I’ve borrowed that tactic and used it myself back home lol. Anyways thank you for making these types of videos!!💕

Another great video! Watching you is really helping me know what to expect when I move there, decided to quit my study and follow my boyfriend back home for a while so I’ll be moving there in the next few months ☺️

Here in Amsterdam I do see big places where you can leave your trash, I also see furniture. Maybe it just depends where you live in the Netherlands. But I'm glad that you're so positive!!

"Ease of letting things go".... TOTALLY! I lived in Germany for 10 years and spent 3 of those years 10 minutes from the Dutch border. They have a lot of similarities to the German culture but they are very much more easy going in a lot of things than the Germans are.

- The Netherlands is at the same height as Canada, because of the gulf current it is generally slightly warmer, but most of the time you still want to dress a little warmer.

I'm pretty sure some of this things and points are related to the kind of people you are surrounded with and the place you live, But i still agree with some of the stuff you point out~
