Wow Harry that was very interesting most of the people that end up living in Fuerte have a passion for the island and its culture the longest l have ever stayed is 3 months a long time ago visiting and living are so different and at times can be lonely! I will stick with my hols to Corralejo and the memories ! It has a special place in my heart and its always great to see you and the many friends we have made over the years? Hope Becks gets back soon! Ann & Keith♥️😎♥️ see you in May!

Fuerteventura is part of my life. A mixture of Berlin, Corralejo, a little Sicily and very little Norway have been working perfect for me since 2015.

Very interesting video Harry I think those of us who come over 3 or 4 times a year think we would like to be living your life but after every visit realise it is nice to get back to family - even though we miss the people who we think of as our Fuerteventura friends. Back there on 1st of February and again in mid March hope we see Becky there with you, Happy new year. Ps if you need any guitar strings bringing let me know and can bring you some over.

Thank you so much for your video its very interesting and lots of things to consider. But you are definitely correct tgat people are just so very happy on the island and I've only been back in the UK for 4 days and me and my family have all commented on how grey it is here and how unhappy alot of people seem.... very little laughter and smiles around which is such a shame abd everyone rushing about which is due to the pressures i quess of uk life 😢😊

Thanks Harry. Community spirit/camaraderie has slowly been eroded over the last few years within the UK. Lots of people are like coiled spring in the UK. At my age I've seen most things and we've definitely noticed the changes in general in the UK and generally agree things haven't changed for the better as we quite often compare with times passed. After 33 visits and finally acquiring the golden ticket, the irish passport we'll be relocating to the island. See you in a few days. It's a retirement home for people who've had enough of the tomfoolery in the world 🌎.

So sorry to hear thay David is returning to the UK. I know you will make new content, but it won't be the same living so far apart. An end of an era . Or another chapter for you both. Anyway I wish David well back in the uk and of course your continued stay on the Island. Bye for now.

Hey Alistair! Thanks man 💪 think it’s disguise Christmas buff weight 😂 and it’s not a good thing to be in comfort zone for sure. That’s why I’m focussing on this online stuff (sharing my music and videos like these) feels like the next step. And also feels vulnerable too. How are you doing??
