@@aerius4479 it means putting the 808s in the same key as the melody (using the same notes) because a lot of people just throw them on C5 ( the default note ) with some other notes.

This is by far the best remaking advice I’ve ever heard. I myself remake songs and post the instrumentals and I relate to all the struggles. I think the best piece of advice was about making mistakes and getting better. Once you get good at it, you also figure out what types of beats artists want. You can compare the amount of sounds and the arrangement to your beats and see what you can improve. Also: TUNE YOUR 808Sssssss

tbh watching deconstructed and breakdowns of some of my favorite instrumentals is one of the best ways to learn. i think aidan’s supersonic elephant ears def helped me progress as a producer a fcking whole lot, he’s like the secret sauce if it could talk through a mic to us. i’m glad i found this channel i’ve gotten so much crazy knowledge and insight from this channel
