If I could go back and tell the younger me a few tips on homeschooling before I even began, this is what I would tell her…

What an encouragement to my heart! Especially when you talk about depending on the Lord for wisdom and meditating on His word! 💖💖💖

I’m really loving your homeschool content! I’m so glad I found your channel! The Lord has been working on my heart SO much this year. I have a toddler and preschooler. I’m doing TGTB preschool very gently with my 3 almost 4 year old boy. I’m heavily entertaining the idea of homeschooling. I pray God will continue to speak to me and guide me on this decision versus me feeling selfish in wanting to homeschool to protect my kids from being misunderstood and keeping our family god-centered. I have another full school year to decide after this one. Both of my parents and my sibling were/are public educators. If me and my husband choose this path for our family I would need to have the understanding and grace for others who will likely push their judgement and opinions on us even in front of our kids. Maybe I’ve already experienced that and succeeded in a way though… I breastfed my kids until almost 2 (that was a hot topic regularly), I cloth diapered both of my kids, and I “willingly” quit my wonderful fulltime nursing job to pull my kids from daycare and stay home with them. I do not regret any of those decisions despite them being a little unconventional for what our extended family is use to. I know God will give me guidance in due time. Until then, I will continue to follow your journey to learn more about homeschool and feel encouraged to find joy and peace in motherhood! ❤️ Thank you for sharing your heart with us!
