Hello after another long break! I was asked to share my story and experiences from going to university and living independently with a disability. It's a long video but I hope I covered everything, from accessibility to student life. It's everything I wish I knew before going to college/university and I really hope you'll find it helpful!
TIMESTAMPS FOR THE VIDEO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WATCH THE WHOLE THING (even I didn't 😂 sorry for any editing mistakes)
00:08 - Intro
02:00 - Why I decided to go to university abroad and how to decide to take such a big step
04:02 - Help provided by my university and what you can expect in terms of accessibility on campus and during your exams/classes
06:30 - Mental health help provided by university, counseling, etc.
07:42 - More about accessibility on campus
11:48 - Student life and independent living
12:40 - Accommodation
14:06 - Groceries struggle
15:55 - How to prepare to live independently and what you can do before you move out to make your life easier
18:03 - Mental health side of moving out and living on your own
22:08 - Social life, friends, parties, and university’s societies and sport clubs
28:28 - The summary and me trying to be super wise but repeating the same grammar mistake 6 times which made me not sound wise at all
*Because of the length of this video, CC to this and a few previous videos will take more time to prepare, sorry! I'll do my best to have them ready by the end of the month.*
I hope you like the video and if you have any suggestions of what types of videos you’d like to see on my channel, please comment below!

Hi :) I loved the video, your bravery and also the way you explained everything right to the point! :) I didn't move abroad to study, but I did something similar. I think that it would be interesting if you could do a video for people that are considering moving abroad, for example, what needs to be done, the challenges you've faced, and if you consider that it is worth it or not. Obviously it is your experience and it could be pretty different from someone else's experience, however, it could help someone that is still figuring out if they should or not take that step :) it is not easy to make the decision of leaving your home and being so far away. If you could explain why you thought it was worth it, the decision process and the execution, I think that could be really helpful for many people!

Heyy! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching! That’s a great idea, I have a few next videos planned but I’ll make sure to film something like that in August 😊 Moving abroad is a huuuge thing and it takes weeks/months of preparing so I’ll have to go back in my memory to what I’ve done and what I should have done to make everything easier 😅 I’m planning on moving to another country (I don’t know where exactly) in a few months when I graduate so it’ll also be very useful for myself to film such video haha thanks again!
