Welcome to my daily vlogs! TRAVEL. FOOD. COMEDY. SINGING. ANTS. LIFE.
I upload a new video every day at 7AM EST!
About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first KZbin channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Mikey, I've got 4 kids. The youngest is coming up to 24. I'm still making it up as I go along! Trust me, even dogs will teach you new things regularly. After over 30 years with the same breed, our latest boy still surprises us. So don't beat yourself up if you think you don't know enough, you do. And you'll learn more tomorrow ;)

AMANO San is a icon! I'm into fish as well! Love aquascaping, and the plant combinations. I keep both natives and hobby tropicals, as well as some cooler ones you'd see at a zoo, like Archers. I'm adopting an African Grey in a couple months, so I've been binging information, like good husbandry permits, before I dive in, via YT and books. Thanks for the info!!!🤠👽✌️

You know what I heard? If this is an issue for anyone, just think about it like this: say you have brown hair, and someone said they think your blonde hair is ugly. You wouldn’t be offended because that doesn’t apply to you, right? So you shouldn’t be offended by any other things either. If someone is calling you an idiot, you know that you’re not an idiot, so the insult doesn’t apply to you. So then you don’t feel like you need to get upset or angry. Obviously there are situations this logic wouldn’t work, but in general I thought it was a really interesting way of thinking.

Receiving insults as a child has a big impact on me, though it is not my fault by being this way. Overtime, I used those insults as a motivation to become better but sometimes it still comes back to haunt me and up until now that I’m an adult it still stings but not as painful as it was before. That is why, I am reminding myself to not let it destroy me. Btw, I fully understand what you mean.Thank you so much. 😊😊

One thing that I wish I did with my dog when she was a puppy would be exposing her to practical things. Like touching her feet, getting her used to being brushed, touching her mouth, etc etc. The things that you need for trimming toenails, going to the groomer, getting teeth cleaned, going to the vet, whatever. My dog doesn’t bite, but you never know what will happen with an unexposed dog getting toenails trimmed for the first time. I’m not professional but maybe sit down with him a couple minutes a day and just touch his feet, give him a couple brushes, or whatever you think you need to do. I mean it wasn’t impossible even with my dog as an adult to get her to be okay with everything, but I just think it would have been so much faster and easier if we just did that when she was a puppy and still curious and more open minded to new experiences. Maybe you knew that or maybe you didn’t, but my dog turned out to be much more of a diva than expected and it has been taking so long to get her to where we want her in terms of grooming manners, and I’m not sure how other dogs are with this kind of stuff haha

A part of the fact that birds are still wild animals as you say and dogs are not is because humans have been breeding certain dogs to fulfil certain tasks for us and that's not the case for birds (or cats). That's also the reason why many dogs look so different and most cats look alike.

I have ghost shrimp as well and really like them. Your tank is looking so good. Oh yeah the Bristlenose Pleco isn't a pleco its a catfish. Commonly mistaken for plecos. I have 6 adults and around 200 baby catfish fry now. If you want working dogs look into Herding dogs like Boarder Collies or something like that. I have had Boarder Collies and they are super smart and very helpful dogs.

If you ever want to try something different for your Keto coffee. I use Bean Envy's MCT oil with collagen & probiotic acacia fiber. They have vanilla but I prefer chocolate. It's powdered so easy to keep. You can use it as a coffee creamer or for hot chocolate. Its nondairy and non-GMO but the collagen is bovine. The acacia fiber is great... and the collagen does amazing things for my skin. I like it better than butter or liquid coconut oil for my coffee. I get mine from Amazon but maybe you can find it other places too. I tell you though a little dot or two of coconut oil massaged into your facial skin after washing is better than any high priced moisturizer I've ever tried. At first you think it will be too oily but in just a few minutes your skin just soaks it right up. It's really great around the skin of the eyes. Natural and so inexpensive!

Wow Mikey! Your skin is looking absolutely flawless and amazing!! It’s not something that I would normally notice about anyone! But I paused this video at 17:12 and after reading a couple of comments I glanced at the video briefly and I don’t know how I didn’t notice it before!! I’ve been watching your vlogs for quite a while now, but it isn’t something that I have even thought about before as it just isn’t something that I really think about, but for some reason tonight your skin is just looking fantastic and that just popped out at me!! Lol! Whatever you are doing, it’s working! I don’t know if it has always looked this good, because I’ve really never looked that closely before, or if you are doing something different. I can’t imagine that the red palm oil would give a person great skin after only a couple of days of ingesting it. But if it is that, along with how you were saying at the end that you were feeling great, I think I might have to try and get myself some!! I haven’t been feeling so great lately and I regularly feel lethargic, so I could really use something natural to help me feel good. Don’t think that I could have it in my coffee though!! Kisses and cuddles to Miss Ligaya! Oh... I had a thought while you were talking about your vision for your future life at the farm. There is an awesome channel I watch called ‘The Whitehouse on the Hill’. They are a young American homesteading family who bought their dream farm not long ago and I think that you could possibly get some great ideas or advice about some things for when you move to your farm. Before they moved to their dream farm, they mainly just had all sorts of different types of chickens, ducks and birds. But since moving they have now expanded their range of animals! They bought a pregnant cow and she just gave birth a couple of weeks ago, it was so amazing. They have a few other animals, but Jake, the father, is just really quite impressive how he builds so many things himself. I hope you check out some of their videos, I think you might enjoy them. 😊

There actually isn't a solid answer to that. Basically from my understanding, as long as their food varies constantly from month to month you should be good. The most important thing that governs their body cycles is photoperiod (time they get daylight), though. If the bird can get as close to the natural light time between sun up and sun down as possible where you live, the bird should be good and have healthy hormone cycles.

It's Taco Tuesday (well it will be later, it's still early AM here)... and I thought I was the only "Crystal Faerie" LOL... I'm happy you got your chopper working, they do make cooking easier. Super excited to finally meet Cypher, he looks like such a bundle of energy. Back "in the day" when I had dogs, I found an author that really helped me, his name is Brian Kilcommons, he has a book "My Smart Puppy" that had tons of great info in it, also "Good Owners Great Dogs" helped me tons raising a Dalmatian... anyway, I recommend checking these out if you're looking to do some research. I'm really intrigued for tomorrow's vlog now... I swear you can make a cliff-hanger out of anything ;). Stay Safe, Sane and Healthy... Hello to RJ!

@@MikeyBustosVLOGS Your so very welcome! Yes, I had a Dalmatian that I rescued when he was a puppy, he had a huge black spot over one of his eyes and the breeder was going to euthanize him as this was an undesirable trait, no way I was gonna let that happen, he turned out to be the most amazing dog, super smart (and a total diva, just like his Daddy).
