I received some advice with the last booster I got. She said I should move my arm around a lot to help pump the chemicals into my bloodstream and lessen the soreness. It worked! Moral of the story for me was don't stop exercising when shoulder is sore from the injection.

love your videos emylee! also your pull ups are really good, could you tell us how you learned to do them? like how you started, how long it took you

thank you girl! and yes so I set the goal of trying to get a pull up and within a couple months I was able to with consistent practice/work. I do just want to note: Most of what i was doing in this video were chin ups (hands facing you) vs a pull up (grip w/ hands away from you) however i can do pull ups as well and the principles I used apply for both so here goes: 1. Practice the negative portion of the pull up: essentially use a stool to lift yourself over the bar and slowly lower yourself maintaining control and not just letting yourself drop. 2. Use a resistance band to practice assisted pull ups 3. Lat pulldowns (go heavy on these and not for reps) 4. Figure out which portion of the pull up is hardest for you and practice just that (i.e. for me it's the top portion, getting from 90deg to over the bar, so I practiced holding myself above the bar) I thnk that covers most of it, let me know if you'd be interested in a full video about how to get your first pull up :)
