I'd always say do whatever you enjoy doing. But I guess I have a suggestion slash question, just because I've been asked it alot today, what's your thoughts on the UK government getting rid of public gender neutral bathrooms? Or if you want a nice topic what's your favourite shows to watch or books to read? I'm always interested in that.
@nerdyhatter57432 жыл бұрын
@@rainhymas277 Wait, this happened? If so that’s disgraceful! I’m from the UK and haven’t heard of this news so I hope this isn’t across all parts, or tbh I hope it doesn’t happen at all!

Haven't checked in on you for ages (rl stuff happening here). So glad to see the happy confident woman you have become. For the name stuff, when I got married I changed my name and it seriously took 10 years to stop getting stuff with my old surname. You are going to get things with the wrong name for a while, just let the offenders know your name has changed, they'll eventually get there. Remember women come in all shapes and sizes and with all sorts of voices and appearances. As a natal woman, I am telling you there is a LOT out there designed to make all of us feel inadequate, to remind us that we are less than "perfect". But that view of perfect is a construct, it's false and it has nothing to do with us, natal or trans, as real people. Your voice is fine. We are not all stamped out of a clone machine. How boring would life be if we were?

I'm no Clinician, but it seems from the number of videos you see, that detransitioning is far more common amongst FTM, than MTF, A common theme from them was that the process happened much too quickly. They went to see a therapist and walked out with a prescription for Testosterone. If things are like anything else in Australia, you would just have to photocopy your Deed Poll and get someone like a JP to certify it. There was a comment recently, think it might have been from Ray Blanchard, 20-30 years ago nearly every patient he saw would have been aiming for SRS, now its not so common. Here in Australia many years ago you had to have had SRS to change your Gender Marker. Each State is different, but typically nowadays the criteria is something like a diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and, say, 6 months on HRT, Keep on thriving
@CJGfarm2 жыл бұрын
The reason there are more FTM detransitioners is because there are significantly more FTM trans. MTF trans is much more rare.
@COLINJELY2 жыл бұрын
@@CJGfarm your proof? I would say just by going on the number of people doing coming out videos, MTF is far more common. I personally know a number of MTF, don't know any FTM. Seen a lot of detransition videos from FTM, only a few from MTF
@tinydancer7432 Жыл бұрын
@@COLINJELY well theres many more factors you are not considering. there are far more ftm than mtf. and not only that but just because theres more videos of mtf does not mean that theres more mtf. You are insecure and validate yourself by saying theres less mtf because you want to prove to yourself that being a guy is just so hard. and dont deny it. you thought u was sneaky with it.

My sister has been telling me over and over again that I’m not trans that I’m either gender curious or within my own head because I don’t fit certain criteria that her other trans friends have and I felt like these past three years there was no other way to explain myself I just knew who I was and I didn’t really have a big reason to why I felt that way I just did.

I’ve always thought I was too young to be trans ftm. I was always just though to be a lesbian (my parents even thought I was lesbian when I was like 4) And I felt that was not right when I found out what different sexuality’s were. There was a point when I was around 9 when it clicked: I liked girls and boys. Now me being literally 9 and not knowing what pansexuality was, I though there were only gay and bisexual. Basically I was bisexual until I found out I was pansexual since I felt different, again. Oddly enough though I’ve always wanted to be a gay man or pansexual man and I just didn’t know what transgender meant so I brushed it off for a few years until i was getting a bit weird. I wouldn’t wear certain shirts that showed my chest, I never liked tight shirts and eventually found out about nb and trans. I thought I was just going though a phase so I kind of tried to ignore it until I became nb, finally giving into this mess 💀 although I still was ignoring how I was comfortable with he/him because I just never thought I could be that, until now, where basically I’ve come out to my mum as nb first until I gave into my feelings then a few weeks after I felt like that I told her about me being trans. Anyway that’s my rollercoaster about my gender identity and other things messed up into a long paragraph. (Sorry if it doesn’t make much sense, I’m literally exhausted it’s 2:25am)

Wait, what, you're trans??? That explains the channel name changes over the years. Oh and that time you straight up and said it, that might of been a hint. Maybe it was that video building a classroom with Nanosounds that should of given me enough of a hint. (Sorry for the fake shock joke). But honestly I love this video, honestly more trans folks need to hear this information, as it's not easy, but worth it. People need to hear it sometimes. Only referenced back to that Nanosounds collaboration because that collaboration videos is pretty much what help me clear all doubts and just go, life isn't perfect, but I'm not after perfection, just happiness, and being happy with yourself. So thanks Bea.

I know the feeling. They might say you can't choose your family, but that's only sorta true as I've got my own found family, no-one being blood relatives but we are family. I gave my mum enough chances in my life maybe too many, but now it's just upto her if she wants to be in my life or not and if she chooses not I haven't lost anything, I just never had it in the first place.

7:40 very important message. in 2months into hormones and y family doesnt understand me. mom thinks she's losing me. bro/sister in law think i should hold back on HRT for longer time. i AM ON hrt and i like what it does to me. its enough to make bro/sis inlaw separate from me if they cant understand what im going through. bro cant accept results of HRT, SIS the same they want to science out everything to make me prove it to them. in essense they are trying to hold onto my old person . id rather go by the name of Nelsea and right now direct family isnt supportive to the point of likely cut off. scary but necessary to take care of myself.
