Google maps works without wifi as well btw, at least for your own GPS location and seeing the surroundings. It saved my life in Tokyo lol offline map is still a good idea if it really doesn't :') and as for clothes: H&M, Zara, Forever 21, Bershka also exist in Japan and they also sell bigger sizes! (shoes too, but might not always be in stock 😊 I was very lucky at times haha)

Yes, japan summer is a hot mess. There is no fix for it. All those gadgets available to beat the summer heat just don't work 100%. You will still feel misable even hiding under a shade. I still am not used to it, but I survive every summer. Oh and I do have one of those parasol umbrella (am I dude) and I am not going to lie, I use it sometimes to block the burning sun. Thank you for not saying why Japanese do not speak English in their own country? You mentioned the word Japan 31 times.

Yeah, sadly the gadgets don't fix the problem. I'm just already looking forward to fall haha. And yes of course, there's no obligation to speak English in any non-english speaking country. If someone wants to live in Japan, knowing Japanese is necessary!
