Y'all, I have struggled with making this video. I filmed it in May and deleted it. Again in July and chickened out. However, I truly feel like a review of each product is needed. Prior to purchasing the FlyLady Ultimate Cleaning Pack, I search KZbin and watch all that I could find but there were very few! I regret some of the products so I wanted to be transparent with my FlyLady friends about my experience with each item. Hey y'all, I am Terri. I started this channel years ago as a way to help single women stop focusing on finding a man and become happy so that THE man would find them. I had no idea that just 6 months later my life would be completely flipped! I married a friend that I did not think of in that way until God flipped both of us to something more in an instant.
So, I pulled out the old FlyLady book and got busy. When I finally quit working, I was able to tackle the bigger projects but those routines were my saving grace when I was busy working. They still are! I've pivoted my entire KZbin channel to helping other struggling Momma's to get their footing and make the changes needed to be happier in their homes. I am sO far from perfect so I hope my story can encourage even the messiest of moms!
I have zero experience in coaching, filming, editing, or blogging but somehow God called me to do all of these things. My hope and faith is in Him and His wisdom. I hope to get to know you guys on a real level. I am an only child and desire a great big community of friends to share our lives and grow together.

Hi Terry. I’m Cindy, 68, I work as a flight attendant, still working, grown kids and have 5 cats. Your video popped up today so I listened as I wanted some motivation while attempting to clean. I felt your genuine message and wanted to thank you. Then i put on another and then I put on this video to listen. I want to add that I first found Flylady in her beginnings in 1999. I have been trying to find a routine and tried her systems off n on since then to create less chaos and nothing has worked. I’m exhausted of trying and at this point in my life, I’d just like to have some sense of organization and routine before I die and so frustrated that I cannot get on board like so many other people. Like Many others I’ve tried many other systems and watched other tubers, books, etc, like most people I find that the fly ladies website is overwhelming. I thought that in 1999 and I still think it today but I do think she has a lot of good baseline ideas and I think she’s amazing because she has created and opened the door for so many KZbinrs and made them money with their businesses and helped so many people, She truly is the queen and deserves upmost respect. Well…. today I am once again starting over and trying after 25 years of no success. I might add, . I have had success off n on for about 2 weeks ish and then I fall apart …back to the drawing board. I am the one who just does a 24 hour rush insane clean the house if I have to and I get it all done… it looks fantastic but then it’s soon falls apart because most of the stuff wasn’t put away in a proper place as I never know where to store it as I have storing issues. So it will get stuffed in the closet, etc., or putting bags in the shed etc. Am I the only person Who can’t figure it out in 25 years? ( rhetorical question) for me, it isn’t just routines. It’s trying to find a place in my small house for items with my five cats ( one just passed after 23 years ) trying to figure out where to put things with no closet space etc., I have decluttered, I have joined Facebook decluttering groups. I started my own Facebook Declutter group and made friends. . I’ve bought apps , my other hone had a basement and seemed to be more organized then, and I’ve bought book’s, I’ve given away tons and tons of items and I regret giving away so many . .. by the way people say they never regret giving stuff away, I’ve regretted it and I’ve bought many items back . I just feel like I’m completely different than everybody else. .. I have a love of so many things that I like to do and still want to try to do but of course the lack of routine and organization just throws a wrench in most things. All this in combination with my zero work schedule causes chaos and anxiety because I never have the same schedule . Well, I’m going back to try to start again. At least I don’t give up, but I don’t think I’m gonna have success. ( oops, yes so I know not suppose to be negative but after 25 years of trying I’m guilty ………I do think that when I pass I will never reach this simple goal of trying to have a neat and tidy home so that someone could just come in at any time without being worried because that’s the way I’ve lived my entire life. Any suggestions? Lol

Nice to meet you! I can feel your frustration and I sympathize. I can only offer up ideas based on what has worked for me-a recovering hot mess that isn't naturally a perfectionist. First, I had to figure out what a happy home looks like for me...my mom was perfectly tidy and strictly clean but I cannot live that sterile life. So, I figured out my level of "comfy clean" that I try to keep. Basically I am ok with a slightly lived in look. We have animals, live in the country, and make messes but I don't ever want to smell animals or see piles of anything (paper, shoes, clothes). Once you have the vision of how you want YOUR house to be (realistically) then look at the 3-5 trigger points that are driving you crazy. I had to buy an auto feeder and water system so I didn't have that to deal with and a large covered litter box to stop the mess on the floor. I also invested in a Roomba to maintain the floors. Anything that I can do to limit piles, so baskets on the bathroom counters to catch makeup and in the living room for all of the blankets/pillows/toys. It helps me to just be able to toss them into a basket instead of having to "put things away". I started with my dishes/sink because it caused me a ton of anxiety to see and/or smell it. It did not happen overnight. If you can start tidying as you go...basically if you get up to go to the kitchen see if anything needs to go back and take it. We eat in the living room so this saves me sooo much mess from trash and plates! Figure out that one thing that is the tipping point for you and then find a solution to make it better every day you are home. Once you're consistently seeing progress, try to add one more thing. I am talking 15 min or less. I am 100% not spending hours doing anything, small chunks of time. Since you travel a crazy schedule, planning will eventually be your saving grace but if you don't already plan I would not try to be elaborate with it. On Sunday night, I list out all the things going on this week and what I need to do. It just helps me focus and face things without being surprised. I hope this helps.

Boy, do I wish I had seen this before I bought my “ultimate package”! I had only made it through the toilet brush (which didn’t seem to work), the rubber broom that didn’t get up to my cabinets like yours (and that area is the only area I need it to work), and the rubber scrub brush that I couldn’t figure out what I was supposed to use that one (the shower?)… I was so frustrated with what I thought was a waste of mine that I didn’t open up everything else yet. But since finishing your video about 10 min ago I’ve opened my rags and pooped them in my laundry machine with the microfiber want cloth do I can try them out later! Thank you so much for the inspiration to keep trying. Now to take the plastic off my duster and go find where I thought I saw directions on how to wash and fluff with a hairdryer before use? (PS You are right about the fly lady website, being chaotic… Anytime I try to find anything on it (e.g. how to use the broom or scrub brush, I end up in all of the wrong places :-))

💜💜Watch for sales... Got my ultimate pkg for 99.99. I like the Rubba Sweepa for around my woodstove. My Mop handle stays in place but have to tighten quite hard. Maybe get it where you like it & put a piece of duct tape at that spot? Not a fan of the Rubba Swisha either but use the "vase" to hold plastic shopping bags that I reuse as bath rm trash bags. LOVE the rags - better than any other!! LOVE the Rubba Scrubba, have 3 - use one for cleaning my dryer lint screen, one in my car, one in my home cleaning tote. Love the Multi Wand. I like the Carpet Sweepa - works for our dog hair on our lg rug or to quick do our kitchen throw rugs as I'm cooking. So my only "wouldn't buy again" would be the Rubba Swisha".

Hi Scrubba Duckies! I am praying you have had an amazing weekend. The weather turned cold which has me listening to classic Christmas music. LOVE! How are you doing with the Holiday Cleaning Countdown? I got behind with being sick but praise God I went to the doctor and got some meds so next week I want to catch up! I have to tell you that I filmed a product review two other times and tossed them. When I was thinking about buying the FlyLady Ultimate Cleaning Pack, I looked everywhere to see if people had good reviews but not much was out there. Some of the products I love but is it worth buying the whole package? This week I had the strongest feeling that I needed to publish the video so here we are...my honest opinions about everything and scared that I will offend the sweetest lady on KZbin! Ugh, I decided to do it because it will help my ladies who are thinking about buying, and the fact that this just keeps laying on my heart. I absolutely love my carpet sweeper. I have 1 & I have all hardwood floors. So I bought carpets. The square ones. The Carpet sweeper is absolutely perfect for those. My regular vacuum was way too big. & not what i needed. Just so you know.

I love using the Rubba Sweepa in the wintertime to get the snow off my car. It works great and I can reach the top of the car. The straight edge is great for squeegeeing the windows.

I once bought and used a carpet sweeper for over a year, because I lived with a kiddo who was terrified of the vacuum cleaner. So it was worth it to keep the floor somewhat clean until the kiddo's mom (my roommate) took him out and I could run the vacuum.

I love your FlyLady Choices, and have the same qualms as you, except: Rubba Scrubbas are fabulous for cleaning couch and chair cushions, AND they pick up tons and tons of pet hair. The handle is a bit hard to tighten enough, but I like to use them with the wand, and I have an extra that hubby uses when he washes the cars, or gets those ucky cobwebs and bug nests from our eaves.

@@TodaywithTerriK My 95-pound baby is white, and she hates dog brushes on her skin, but she loves getting brushed with that Rubba Scrubba because of its soft silicone bristles. Our 99-pound big boy is black, and he loves any time he gets brushed, with anything you can to brush him with.

Thx for the review! The Rubba scrubba is a great tool for baseboards too fits in corners nicely. Also used for scraping the dirt from your chenille duster and the two mop heads while they are on the mop heads. Gets the dirt and dust off. The cloths are great and for the price does same job as the expensive Norwex cloths as I have them. I got off grime faster and easier than Norwex. One side of Flylady cloth is for scrubbing and the other for polishing. It’s a twofer😜. I use to sell that product and now hooked on Flylady. The mop is great and I get many compliments on my floors than I did using the Norwex. Just tighten it up better and go back and forth. I think you are pressing too hard and loosening up! Also her products help support her channel so I like to support the people I listen too!

Oops. (I hit the blue arrow too soon.) I also have several Norwex cloths. The Norwex EnviroCloth is truly special. But I can only afford them if I have a “party/show.” The Norwex window cloth is mind-boggling. So awesome. I recently decided to try the FlyLady rags. And they are Very Good (comparable) to Norwex. I bought my FlyLady rags on sale 3 for $10. I’d say they are a cross between the two Norwex cloths but without the silver antibacterial feature. (I do think that there is something beneficial to the antibacterial feature to Norwex. We hardly ever get sick 🤷‍♀️.)

Norwex has very similar products, which I have ( mostly free from hosting parties) and I agree with you on almost all of them. The rubbery toilet brush doesn't get the job done. It sounds like fly lady is slightly lesser quality and price than Norwex and not everything lives up to the hype. Thanks for reviewing these, very helpful to know what's worth it or not.

My mom has 2 feather dusters...1 large and o esmall..I know st least 1 is from y alasy...bitb ostrich feather dusters. She's had them for years. I've bern bugging g my ju by about ordering g o e for me. I know recently Marla said that her supply is extremy limited right know, so zi don't know if it will be one of hers or a other brand. Thanks for watching. Her cleaning routines are a game changer and products are good but use what you have unless you need to replace things. When I moved in, my hubby was using a broken mop that the kids used to wash the camper. We needed a new house only mop and I got carried away… lesson learned but overall still ok with the products. Pretty sure the second item you showed isn't for dry sweeping. Pretty sure you use it to scrub hard to lift stains wet and squeegee away the excess water to a point you can mop up

I love FlyLady, but some of the tools, not so much. 1. Carpet Sweepa- (handle stripped and hardly used it)👎 2. Purple and pink rags 👍 3. Mop (difficult to maneuver, maybe the larger is better than the original?) 👎 4. Feather dusters 👍 5. Office in a bag (didn't fit a binder like it says) 👎 5. Timer 👍 6. Her books 👍 I've had older tools too, some good, some not. Again, I love her. I wanted to love all the tools, but some of them were not great. Some are great. I think she is a wonderful person and is bold in her faith. I know many do not like that, but the Bible says the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. Let those who have ears hear!

Very powerful words for sure. I agree which is why I have started praying at the end of my videos because there is absolutely NOTHING I can do to help more than that. I bought the products to support a small, Christian business and to show support while getting the quality products that I need. I also really want to help others interested in FlyLady to fall in love with the program as I have and get things to help. I truly hope that I came across that way and was not judgemental or mean!

I have the Norwex version of the toilet brush, it's almost the same. I hate it. Barely touches under the toilet. Looks like a lot of this are copies from Norwex

And yet I got a few people who say that it's really good? I just don't see how it works differently for them. I've never seen Norwex but I hear the rags are amazing.

I purchased the feather duster from Flylady many years ago. I enjoyed using it at first, but then it began to lose its feathers. i had only been using it for a few months. It soon became unusable and I decluttered it. Very disappointing. I hope they have improved the quality.

So far mine has held up well. The bottom line is that nothing really makes cleaning much easier and I was looking to validate myself by looking the part.

Yes! I have actually been triggered by Marla a few years ago and that never happens. She was drumming up support for her political views, and i actually hold very similar views, but they were claiming that anyone who didn't hold to their Political views cannot possibly be Christians. So anti-Christ of her and her little flying monkeys. I know that was just a small sample of people but it still bothered me so much. I experienced a church split over something similar and it was horrible. I unsubscribed immediately but was so bummed because i did like the format of her videos with the missions etc. As far as Norwex, yes! It really is the best. There is, however, another brand called e-cloth from the UK. It's cheaper than Norwex and good quality, though Norwex is a bit better. The Norwex mop system is amazing. I think e-cloth has mop. That one was not good at all. Oh wow! I love your prayer time at the end. Beautiful! I think you just got a new subscriber. ❤

I am beyond excited that you found me. I get a little hate over my comments about FlyLady but anyone who really watches can see I LOVE her system and her faith but sometimes she loses people with the politics and her website. I have the e-cloth and love it, I now link it in my videos for anyone who wants to try it. I still have not gotten the Norwex but sounds like I really need to! Thanks so much. I think this year I was able to really open up and be more natural and consistent which helps KZbin show you to more people. I dream of a really active community to share tips and ideas. As an only child, I LOVE to chat with friends!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Flylady sharing her faith and I’m glad that you do also. (Is it possible that the sweepa issue versus lugging out the big ‘ol vac a good enough job versus our tendency towards perfection issue?) God bless.❤️👏

Love the Fly Lady Cleaning...cannot watch her. When I bought all of her products, most all of them were made in China!!! That disturbed me and I got rid of them all. I am a Christian, just don't want to sit through all of her little ditties. Not for me, but I do watch other people do the Fly Lady Program....Big old Flag on the wall, Products made in China...didn't make sense to me.

Respectfully I liked your video and love flylady. But I find it wrong to pray to others you don't know. I follow my own spiritual path and don't like any of yours pushed on me. Please understand I too have a life experience, and wouldn't push it on you. I live for this life because I want to not because Someone is monitoring me. Very sorry if you do not receive this in a good way.

I 100% respect your beliefs and do not wish to push mine onto you which is why I pray at the very end. That way I can help as much as possible and you can click out when I say I’m going to pray. I try hard not to make my faith a deal breaker but it is a huge part of my life. Thank you for your honesty.
