Look I know that this was posted three years ago but I just found out that I got in and I am so genuinely happy. Although having said that I have been neurotically searching the internet for answers on what it's really like there and of course there is no definitive answer. But what I can say is that this video made me smile a lot and helped me a bunch. I am fairly awkward with people too but I also love people so much and what you said reassured what I already knew deep down which was that fear is not worth missing out on friendships and opportunities for. Thank you for making this🙏

Lydia Jane since i live in brazil, the system is different. i turn 15 next month which would make me go to grade 10 in canada, japan, usa etc. but in brazil the school year starts in february, not august. so i'm in brazilian 9th grade, which is not high school. i can't apply even tho i payed.

Hiii If i got into UWC, should i buy laptop and notebooks with myself or will they give me by themselves? How many subjects did u studied? And are they enough difficult?

Hey! Most of the time you will need to buy your own school supplies, but if you cannot afford them, you may get them provided by the school. They will let you know if that is the case! In terms of subjects, it is the IB, so you will take 6 subjects plus an additional course called Theory of Knowledge that every IB student takes. It is a heavy course load, but it is possible!

nourine hassan hey!! It depends on your scholarship. Usually you pay for your own flights, but for some people, the school pays. Semesters are August-December and January-June!

Your tuition will be calculated based on how much your family can afford. Once you accept your offer, the school will be in touch about all of that!

Hey! It all depends on your national committee and what they prioritize. Those grades are pretty good, so I would recommend applying! The worst that can happen is you get rejected, but you'll never know if you don't try
