Hey! I will probably make a video about this soon, but here are the basics: - There are 6 "subject areas", and you need to take one class in each. Language A (a language you know well), Language B (a language you want to learn), Social sciences, Natural sciences, Math, and The Arts (this one is optional and you can choose to take a second course in any of the other groups instead if you want). - You take three of your courses at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). Your HL subjects will be more in-depth and you will spend more time on them, whereas your SL subjects are more about learning a new subject you aren't as strong in. - In every class, you have some things that are graded by your teacher and some that are sent out to the IB examiners to be graded. We call these IAs (Internal assessments) and EAs (External assessments). Every assessment is graded on a scale from 1-7 (7 being the highest), and then your final score in the class will be a number from 1-7 as well. - There are three "core components" of the IB that everyone has to do: CAS, TOK, and EE. CAS stands for "Creativity, Activity, and Service", and refers to the clubs and activities you have to do outside of class. TOK is "Theory of Knowledge", and is a class that everyone has to take that talks about where our knowledge comes from. EE stands for Extended Essay and is a 4,000 word essay that you have to write on the topic of your choice. - In the end, you get a score out of 45 points. 42 points come from your 6 subjects, and the extra 3 are a combination of how well you do in TOK and EE. (CAS is just a pass/fail so there are no marks). I know this sounds really complicated but I promise you that once you start, it gets a lot easier :))

They asked " if you have taken any English language tests or assessments, and would like to share your results, please write the name of the test, the date it was taken, and the score you achieved.", In my school we rarely do tests, but I have a english class which all assignments can only be written by english ( obviously ), should I write down my assignment score?

Peek a choo you’re welcome!! And I’m not sure what you mean by “worst grades”, but I suggest going for it. You can’t control your grades (anymore), but you can control the rest of your application. So give them the best you can, and see what happens!

Hey! I'm not sure what you mean by "not really good". You need to be able to survive the IB diploma, but you don't need to get perfect in every class. If you're barely passing, it might be harder to get accepted, but at the end of the day, not everyone at UWC gets perfect grades ;)

Does it matter that the main transcript of class 9 they asked for have the eligible marks or good marks but in previous grades you don't have enough marks. Will it affect the application?

Im not in UWC but from what I've seen:If you were born after Jan 1 2008 and you finish grade 9 after August 2024 you are now eligible to apply.
