You're always so happy and give off such a positive energy in your videos, even the ones when you were going through tough times in hospital etc. I'm really not the type of person to take inspiration from anyone else, but the way you deal with stuff is amazing! I pray that it isn't too much longer before advances in technology allows you to walk again. God bless, and I hope you have a great weekend.

They should build a few duplex style apartments that are designed for the disabled from scratch. Would help you and other future students with mobility issues and would not cost that much in the grand scheme of things, I'm sure federal money could be made available.

I've recently become wheelchair bound due to 2 reaaaallly badly herniated disks I didnt know about (assumed my back pain was normal bc I worked a physical job for a few years) slowly dealing damage to my nerves, resulting in my legs losing most feeling and motor function. I had surgery done, but my legs felt even more numb and I had not movement. I was just discharged from acute rehab today, and Im now able to make my thigh muscles twitch if I try really hard! Ive been looking for wheelchair tips and info for getting more independence (ex hand controled driving), and I came across your channel! I know my condition is not nearly as bad as yours and you've most definitely struggled much more, I cant help but feel hope that even if I never recover to where I once was, I'll be okay 🥹 So thank you for sharing your journey and giving people the advice and encouragement they need. Best wishes with college going forward!!

Syd, I'm really happy to see every video that you do!!! By U.S. law every building/business has to accommodate people who have physical disabilities of any kind, if they don't comply with the U.S. laws they will face hefty fines, until the fix their accommodations for people who have physical disabilities!!! Syd, Much love to you and your family!!!! God bless you and your family!!! Stay safe in whatever you do on a daily basis!!! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, always!!! Your school is very nice to work to help accommodate you. I would think most places just offer what they already have and leave it up to the individual with what they want to do. A "take it or leave it" thing. Seems like you picked the right school. Has it cost more money to get that nice size dorm room with the laundry right next door?
@_sydney.fowler_8 ай бұрын
The dorm does not cost more but my living space will next year.

A teacher say, do not worry, it ia not important, than lethe whole class out. That is isolating, same as whn someone suggested, build a few handicap.. that is going backwards. Hope they get an ADAgroup arranged and go thru it. Same.as when a little person attends.. can not wait to see. Many live 4 yr on campus, may look at that route
