Ciao everyone! Here are some of the travel capsule looks I wore in Greece and Italy. They are great summer outfit ideas and my slow fashion closet came through on this one. I did a little recap of what worked and what didn't because I think it's important to assess for next time! I'm sorry I didn't capture all the looks, there are plenty more options than what I've shown but hopefully this gives you an idea that less really is more when it comes to dressing!

Moral of the story: color scheme travel wardrobe. Mixable separates. 2-3 light weight convertible accessories. And bring your flip flops everywhere you go. :) I liked it. Would love to see a video on similar idea for a business or winter trip.

Loved the recap of what worked & what didn’t! Special thumbs up for your mom in the white crocheted dress with crossbody bag!! Most of the time when I don’t wear things, it’s because of FIT. I think when you do videos it would be great to integrate fit. For instance try the linen pants on that were too big for you & compare them to the ones you replaced them with. I’m always open to tips on fit!

I was in southern Spain at the same time that you were on vacation and I had a few misses with my wardrobe as well. The vibe was much more casual than what I packed (even though I thought it was causal). And with all the walking and eating smaller meals, I also lost weight. Since this is the first time that I have vacationed in Europe during the summer time, I have a lot of lessons learned! Including this: no matter how travel savvy and safe that you think you are, if someone wants to steal you bag....they will!

Looking chic in holidays is always a défi for me but not for you. You are wearing pieces that fit you really well when I look at my photos in France this year I think I choose pieces for the comfort but I don’t look chic at all, but t I travelled with less. You got a real strength for that kind of ‘defis’ May be it’s a process. It’ a good idea also to do a bilan for th next voyage. Question: all those white clothes should be washed many times dont’they? I love how beachy and appropriate you always look in every scenario! Unfortunately,I’m always going to be that tourist that goes with the wrong stuff, end up buying stuff wherever I go and having to pay extra for the new luggage I’ve also had to buy to bring it all back. And end up with a weird confection of stuff hanging in the deepest, most shameful areas of my closet... 🙊 Granted I did one time try that Pinterest capsule pack everything into a carry on for a week holiday in Venice, but needed another suitcase for all the stuff I bought, because it was hopelessly inadequate. 😩

love the concept of holiday capsule, and keeping the vibe of the place your traveling to. but im struggling with a forthcoming road trip im taking with my daughter : flying to copenhagen then driving across Sweden to Stockholm and spending a few days ther, then finally flying to Gothenburg for a few days before flying home. Its likely to be wet, with low temperatures, but not freezing. I'm a lady of a certain age where driving all day or walking all day in jeans might be a bit restrictive, so any suggestions would be great. thank you .
