I use all three, pending on the reel i use monofilament for a little bit of backing. Uni knot to braid for the base, then with flouro for the leader

That's a great point, we didn't mention backing or the type of knot. Fluoro is pretty well known for slipping if you tie that directly to the reel, but monofilament will have a little stretch and really lock into that spool.

I just full braid for all types of fishing. Braided line all the way, even ice braid. Great video though👍👍

Braid is a versatile line type and will work for just about any situation. Do you run braid the whole way or do you use a barrel swivel with a fluoro leader?
