What if AB Universe Bands Covered Alter Bridge?

Spoiler alert: Tim Tournier said that the 20th anniversary project for One Day Remains will have something to do with Mark's old demos. It's confirmed that Mark came up with all the vocal melodies and lyrics for Burn It Down, Broken Wings, and In Loving Memory. I'm not sure about the rest.

One song that comes to my mind is Mayfield Four's unreleased track Reigns Over Me. I think it would sound awesome with Myles' voice nowadays, and since it was recorded during the Second Skin era, he could do a good job at singing it live; as he does with Eden, White Flag.

I can only imagine Alter Bridge plays in grunge style with Mark's solo on 'Sick and Wrong'. I reckon it could become a bonus hit. If that really happened, my soul will fly straight to kingdom come

12/31 is a song that I like Myles Kennedy to try live with Slash because Todd Kerns is a guy who could sing the high note

Alter Bridge to me is what Metallica could have been if they would have let Jason Newsted take on main vocals and writing, the Hetfield/Newsted vocal duo was powerful

Ugh… silly premise… ‘Burn it down’ is awesome on record as is with Myles. Wouldn’t be as good with Mark (who does a nice enough job with it lately Live, to give Myles a small break in the set). Definitely would miss the epic highs of Myles’ voice. Slash and the band reimagining AB!!?? I already much prefer AB and Mark’s solos -style tone and riffs -to the tired old sound of Slash! I only listen to Slash’s stuff to hear Myles on vocals💪. I do like Todd Kerns backing vocals - but Tremonti’s backing vocals are so much more rich and complement Myles lead better IMO! ‘Forever Falling’ mellow??!! Killer riffage on that one. Myles singing backing vocals is also great as is. Pick a genuine ’soft’ song if you want to make that argument…(?). Jeez! Wanna ‘reimagine’ songs? U just need more Myles and Mark; and less of everybody else!! Definitely not Slash instead of Tremonti on lead guitar!💪💪
