This actually helped me picture all the doctors as one actual person. In another universe, this would be the way it was done; one actor, many many different bodies, to show that the doctor is always the same person but many different incarnations of that same person.

Sure, you can still notice a few differences in each one of them like body language and accents (also the earlier Doctors used to speak in more formal manner) but seeing all of them with the same face and same voice really shows how much each incarnation is an evolved version of the previous one, and they’re all the same person underneath.

Also they hadn't decided whether Magan was the one who fought in the time war or nine, it implied it was nine throughout since it seems he felt a special responsibility but then they added the actual war doctor so we assume he travelled a a bit alone after regeneration at the end of the 50th.
