Would just like to clarify a few things. 1. With Mace and Obi-Wan vs Palpatine, the reason Palpatine is able to get the upper hand is due to his speed and forced scream. In ROTS, he used this to take out Agen Kolar and Saesee Tinn, whereas, in this story, he'd use this to get the jump on Windu, ambush and catch him off guard then focus his attention on Obi-Wan. 2. Dooku would've been imprisoned for life, but happy and content with the fact he stopped Palpatine empire

I think Palpatine would know the gig is up the moment Anakin spared Dooku. He likely would have revealed himself then (if Dooku didn’t at the point) or made an escape once he got back to Coruscant knowing his plans were ruined.

I think you made a mistake. Dooku knows about the chips and even if he didn't he knows the clones were made for the plan. Which means now the council knows. They would have investigated and acted to deal with that before even trying to gather evidence against Sidious. Order 66 therefore would not have been capable of happening by the time they confronted Sidious. Heck, if they found Order 66 then they'd probably take the matter to the Senate to remove him as Chancellor after removing the chips in case there was a back-up plan for the clones.

I don't usually leave comments, but I need to tell you that I enojy your videos very very much, in terms to feedback, I will say that the voice acting is really good it allows to imeres into story, the work with soundtrack is really outstanding, I mean I can only imagine the work you put into this, the visual aspect is really fun to watch, although I really watch it unfortunately, and now the writing.. At this point too, Obi-Wan would have told Ahsoka since in Clone Wars, he couldn’t as Dooku had died. So Ahsoka would mist likely join Maul to help stop Palpatine

The thing with Dooku is that he wasn’t initially dark, but rather he knew the path the Jedi were on was not right. He saw Sidious as the lesser of two evils. Any path that led to Dooku supporting Anakin in any way ends in a win for the chosen one. If Qui Gon had survived, Dooku would have sought them out and joined them instead of Palpatine while being a good mentor to Anakin. If Obi Wan had joined Dooku in Attack of the Clones, Palpatines identity would have been revealed much sooner and the war would have ended within a few months of its beginning with the council killing Palpatine. If at any point the force ghost of Qui Gon had talked Dooku into joining Anakin, how things would play out would depend on timing, but all would result in Palpatines defeat. The moment before Dookus death, he knew he had chosen the wrong path and I think it’s the pivotal moment that he began to follow Palpatine without question regardless of his own conflicts

Good story but the Mace/Obi-Wan write off doesn't work. Mace defeated Sidious 1 on 1 in canon, and Obi-Wan is one of the greatest duelists in the entire order. Addendum: I’ve been getting replies about Sidious letting Mace Windu win. George Lucas himself as informed us that he did not. Mace Windu canonically overpowered Sidious.

I think it does. In ROTS, Palpatine ambushes Saesee Tinn and Agen Kolar. What's stopping him doing something similar to Windu and Obi Wan? He could ambush Windu with his incredible speed and then deal with Obi Wan after.

@@FantasyFolklore Well, although we aren’t 100% sure of it’s canonicity it is widely believed that those two Jedi were caught by force scream. Mace did not appear to be susceptible to this, as he raised his guard during it. Again, not completely sure. But Agen Kolar’s failure to even attempt to block Sidious’s long wind up stab is evidence that he was perhaps slightly dazed.

Dooku rolls his eyes , extends a a stump only to remember his hands are gone, he uses the force and levitates one of his hand extends the index finger and points it at Palpatine while with the other hand slaps Anakin across the face. "HIM YOU IDIOT!" As anakin replies: "He's behind the chancellor?!" To which dooku face palms with his disembodied hand and looks to Palpatine: "Him? REALLY?" Palpatine shrugs his shoulders: "Ehh he's a work in progress." To which Anakin cries out: "SHOW YOURSELF SITH! YOU UNDERESTIMATE MY POWER!" looking behind the chair Palpatine is sitting in. Palpatine replies: "Ok...ok I see it now, right yeah... Dumb as a sac of tacs."

I am glad that there is a question through KZbin where I am not the only one that was wondering about the answers to and this is the one and it is Ironic that it is one I have not asked about before; but hey, best case scenario, Anakin would strike me as being more of a grey alignment than a full Light Sider. If Dumbledore was a SW Jedi Character, he would've been only 7% Darkside during his early "Grindelwald" days, but gradually turn away from it and give lightside a try but in the end (as he would not entrust himself to be in the seat of power) he would want to remain a grey Jedi.😊 We all know that power goes both ways: 👹 Darkside- Pros: quickest road to power and life leeching; Cons: Unorthodox training, misguided/clouded judgement; turning fear into anger and passion into hate leading into the short pier walk of death. 😇 Lightside- Pros: trusting in the balance of the force, guarded compassion and willingness to protect or help others, and draw upon the strength of companions/allies, encourage love and hope; Cons: restrain impulses that are driven by strong emotions, exercise patience and resist negative emotions. Conventional training; Arrogant/Prideful, but fair judgement. 😐 Grey path: Pros: Unconventional training, you are your own counsel, you know when to draw the line in any situation, you are socially inclined, you would most likely side with the Republic/rebels, you are not restrained by the rules of the Jedi Order, you are not burdened by a dark master or easily shut down by senior Sith imperial/First Order officers; Cons: you might be playing both sides of battle, you might have little to no qualms in making money on the side, you are the rebel of rebels but do not always take much of an active role in big battles, you are less likely to win a duel against either the Jedi Order Jedi Masters or Sith Lords.
