The big difference between Dooku and most dark side users is, that Dooku didn't use the force for personal gain. He never really fell to the dark side, but was surely seduced by it.

I disagree that Maul would aid Palpatine. Also Maul killing Mace is extremely unlikely. Palpatine raiding the temple with bounty hunters seems like a suicide mission, he is not one to risk such thing. He would go into hiding and find another student. Perhaps one who left Academy after being used by the Jedi. One with two small lightsabers; Ashoka.

Obi-Wan being killed so haplessly brings a tear to my eye. He was one of the most fundamental characters at this point in time, and in canon one of the finest defensive duellist in the order, I’m cool with Sidious killing a couple of his assailants though, it makes sense and does need to happen (and he did dispatch with them in Canon at the start of the battle with Windu). Maybe Kenobi could be the last one left alive and hard pressed alone against the Emperor (we saw Kenobi’s true abilities in canon at the end of ROTS, also the New Hope duel revisited showed us his ability enduring in age). Anakin could be motivated both out of concern for his master (let’s face it, there’s definitely friction between them, but he undoubtedly looked up to Kenobi and admired him), and for Padme. I cannot fathom Kenobi dying like this ugh..

This really is one of the most badass channels on youtube. Lucas Films really owes a lot to you and your work and its a shame what they did to the sequel trilogy. @WiiManElite In the movie they never said Clones had chips in their brains, chips that control their actions and motivations. In the movie they said that Clones were bred for obedience. The whole chip idea was something that was made up for Rebels and the Clone Wars cartoon. You know they have chips in their brains. To me that's just something where some writer came by and was like: "Clones being bred for obedience doesn't make much sense, we'll just say they have chips in their brains." To me it's just ehhhh. It's all kinda dumb and i'm not really a fan of that. I'm not a fan of just like writing your own excuses for someones nonsense writing. You know Overall, to me it seems that subsequent writers just never seem too happy with how the Clones work, so they keep changing them and their motivations around. To be quite honest i'm not a fan of the Clones anymore in general. They're just a bad contrived Prequel idea that never makes much sense no matter how many revisions they go through.

At this time Anakin could become more powerful than Mace. Few more years of training will make difference. J thing Mace will be 3rd. It's also important to note that Maul has been training from episode 1 to 3 + additionall years after Sidius escape. It's like whole Anakin live. His power will be equal or slightly less than his master's so he could take out Mace easily. In best scenario he was medium opponent.

Guilherme lcb Read the novel. Sidious let Mace think he won. In reality, Sidious could've one shot Mace just like he did the first two Jedi in an instant. In the book it explains when Sidious lunged at the four Jedi, none of them, even Mace, could see him or react for a couple seconds, which is why Sidious instantly one shot two Jedi Masters. He could've chose Mace as one of those two Jedi he killed right at the start if he wanted to. Don't get me wrong, Mace is definitely amazing, but he didn't truly "beat" Sidious, and he never could have.

Honestly, it's hard to say who would win, since the two of them were masters of different styles, yet equally as skilled. Anakin was stronger in his natural Force abilities (or Midichlorian count....god, I feel dirty saying that); but Mace was no push-over himself, and had the advantage of experience. Furthermore, in a lightsaber fight, Mace would have owned Anakin's arse any day of the week.
