Video Information:
What’s going on people today we’re explaining how the timeline of Attack on Titan would’ve completely changed, if Armin inherited the armoured titan. As we know back in season 3 there was a time when the Scouts had captured both Reiner and Bertolt, but thanks to Reiner’s indestructible plot armor, he was the one that was saved while his friend was left behind.
Ok so the new timeline begins in the year 850, with the warriors arriving home having just been beaten by the scouts. In the original series this is the time period when the middle eastern alliance declared war against Marley, since they figured the warriors were vulnerable having lost the female and colossal titans. The alliance knew that their anti-titan canons were strong enough to beat the remaining shifters Marley had and it’s probably a large reason why the felt confident enough to start the conflict. However in this alternate timeline where Bertolt survived they never would’ve declared war in the first place and the reason for this is pretty simple. In the world of attack on titan Bertolt is the closest thing to a nuclear weapon that exists and despite all the anti-titan tech, enemy nations still don’t have anything that could deal with him. As a quick example of what I mean, let’s imagine for a second that bertolt was there during the battle at fort slava. In the anime we saw how the beast and armoured titans struggled to get the job done and were nearly killed, whereas Bertolt by himself could’ve singlehandedly blown up the middle eastern fleet while also crushing Fort Slava with his colossal foot. To put it simply the difference in power between him and the other warriors is so massive, that no country would be dumb enough to declare war against Marley as long as he’s still alive. As a result the middle eastern war never happened in this new timeline, which drastically changes how the military reacts to losing two of their titan shifters.
For a start I think it’s highly likely that Bertolt would argue they need to return to the island, since he’d want to save Annie and Reiner’s quickly as possible. Remember didn’t know that Paradis had the fluid to turn armin into a titan, so as far as they’re aware Reiner and Annie should both still be alive. That’s why he’d would be desperate to move quickly before something happens but commander Magath would be 50/50 about the whole thing. On one hand he’d agree with Bertolt that they should try to get their missing warriors back, but on the flip side there’s a risk that trying to do this could result in even more of them being killed. If Marley continues to lose shifters then it’s only a matter of time until they also lose their dominant position in the world, so he’d be hesitant for any of them to go back. However this is the moment where Zeke would chip in, as he’d remind the commander that right now the island is more exposed than any time in the past 5 years. While it’s true that Paradis technically won the battle in Shiganshina, they lost virtually the entire survey corps in the process, which everyone knows is their strongest military branch when it comes to fighting titans. With so few scouts remaining, there’s no way they’d be able to hold back the warriors a second time, especially if Marley attacks sooner rather than later. Zeke would also try to scare everyone by claiming that they need to capture Eren before he gains a better understanding of his founding titan abilities, otherwise they might get trampled by the rumbling if they keep waiting. Of course that part would be a bluff since Zeke knows Eren can’t use the founder without help, but obviously no one in Marley is aware of that besides him.

Confident Bertholdt was scary, like he was a beast. Being the strongest titan shifter. But not only that, he in human form was able to beat Mikasa, an Ackerman, even when she had the advantage. So, he’s a force to be reckoned with. Now, imagine post-time skip, 2 meter tall, and confident Bertholdt. He would’ve definitely been a huge problem for Paradis. I don’t think there’s anyway for them to beat him. Only except if Eren unlocks founder.

Armin with the Armored titan would be the weakest titan in history. Reiner who’s been trained by Marley for years in hand to hand still loses all his fights. So imagine Armin. Armin is only strong because he has the colossal titan, one of the strongest titans, so all he has to do is transform and that’s it, he’s already done enough damage. But Armin with his 2/10 combat skills would literally be useless as the armored. I bet even a pure mindless titan could beat him.

Reiner always took the initiative and Berthold mostly sat back and follwed his orders, which is fine that is a part of his character, however that wouldn't transelate that well to a fight. especially against an older experainced eren, he would definitely lose.

Bertholdt and Reiner would have died too since Ymir wouldn’t be there to save them, likely giving Paradis the Colossal and Armor Titans too. Zeke probably would either postpone the Wall Maria battle plan, or Marley has to step in themselves before Eren learns of the world outside the wall.

Thry wouldnt havr gotten the armour or colossal until season 3 this is because if ymir took eren and left reiner and bertoldt would have fled, And even if they were captured the survey corp only learnt of how titans gain shifter powers from Kenny, through the idea of syrum, They could have fed them to wild titans through ymirs knowledge but I doubt Erwin would risk that considering they didnt know who the titans were and they couldve rejoined where reiner and bertoldt came from in their eyes even though we learn later they are just restorationists that marley threw out mainly, Erwin didnt know that. To them and the audience titans were a mystery and in which time due to how marley was hesitant to go back for just annie, Im sure they would have sent everything they had to paradis to reclaim the 3 and well yeah, There is no way the Ymir jaw and Attack season 2 stand any chance against them, Eren only began to even master the attack in season 3, and the Jaws full capabilities have never been seen by the audiance due to how stupid all 4 users are, and suprissingly a 13 year old kid is the closest we have come since porco galliard was a moron, marcel galliard never even had a chance,

In the original manga, with the added pages, Paradis still got invaded after all the shit Eren did. I think this version would be better, as in both versions, Paradis still lost, but in the euthanasia version, 80% of the world would be spared from Eden’s global genocide.

After part 2 of this, We still need part 5 of What If Erwin Was The Colossal? because we need to know how Erwin, Eren and Historia got into the paths. Another idea is What If Ackermans Can Turn Into Titans? (Including Kenny, Levi or Mikasa) Ackermans could be even more powerful as a Titan. Finally the last idea is What If Marco Survived? Marco could have help Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt with their problem. Marco could bring Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt to Eldia's side and help Erwin find a solution for Paradis, Marley and the rest of the world to show that Paradis aren't Devils to humanity, and maybe in the end Marco and Annie get to together idk. That's just some ideas for you Turtle Quirk!

If that happened, I think the wall will be attacked by 3 of them instead of just Reiner and Bertholdt. Since Annie will be weakened after luring the Titans to the wall, the 3 will attack Wall Maria before escaping. I doubt Reiner will have survivor guilt and split personality if Marco survives.

Turtle! How about a speed/jump titan? A titan that's based in extreme agility and reflexes and jumping, and that has slightly longer abnormal legs that are super powerful, a slightly thin and tall 14/13 meter body figure to support speed, sabertooth teeth that come out from its mouth, its legs are so strong that it can bust a titan crystal by using its knees or merely stepping on it, it has the fastest transformation, and it's the most athletic titan.

I know it's a year late, but I think the Cart Titan would suit someone not built for combat like Armin even more, he does not need to participate directly on the battle. He can strategize and manipulate the setting of the battlefield from a distance. He can make use of the Cart's small size, high endurance and speed to support the scouts as well as Eren on the battlefield. He can transport spies and soldiers on enemy territory without drawing too much attention. He can transport supplies, serve as a getaway for captured allies, he can easily kidnap a person of interest and would be able to use his powers more frequently unlike with the Colossus Titan. Back when the Cart first appeared, the user was supposed to be a middle aged man. Imagine if they captured him trying to save Bert after dropping Zeke and Reiner with Marleyan soldiers. They would've had the Colossus as well as the Cart to feed both Armin and Erwin. The titan serum wouldn't be much of an issue since all you need is a drop, in order to transform someone into a pure titan. That one bottle was more than enough.

I posted this comment in a different video but I would love to see a timeline where when Zeke and Pieck are looking at Eren and Levi comes down to chase them. Imagine in this timeline Eren doesn't hesitate to give Levi his spare gas to chase them down and he catches up to them by the time they reach Hange and Reiner. Levi would immobilize both of them and in an attempt to save his own life Zeke offers up how to get more spinal fluid from him and Reiner to give to Erwin. This way both Armin and Erwin get to live, Zeke and Pieck would live and Marley now only has 2 titans.

Very interesting and comprehensive but since I’m obsessed I have two criticisms. 1: I’m pretty sure Zeke would still have reached out after year 1 rather than make a move at year 4 . While there isn’t a war, there’s still a need to use Yelena for those diplomatic connections and to flesh out the economic alternatives he gave the island for their future consideration. While being watched by Marley, he can’t do that himself. Plus he genuinely wanted to connect with Eren both as family and because he needed the coordinate and leaving it to his final year would have been too great a risk. 2: The Tybur family will still be heavily involved in what follows with capturing Paradis. Working in tandem with colossal, there’s an even greater need for paradis to develop some sort of strategy that involves working with Zeke and tapping into the full potential of the coordinate if they stand a chance.

Now my wait for a What If Erwin got the Armored Titan begins,but you know another interesting scenarios would be: What If Pure Titan Ymir ate other shifter than Marcel, if you change somethings she could have ate Bertholdt or Annie not only Reiner, What if Historia ate Eren, What if Rod Reiss ate Eren, What if Frieda Reiss won the fight against Grisha, What if Porco got the Armored Titan (this deserve much parts I think), What If Zeke,Pieck and Bertholdt are the Warriors send to Operation Paradis and Annie ,Reiner and Marcel stayed in Marley. What if swap Marley Titans: Pieck is the Female Titan,Zeke is the Colossal Titan,Marcel is the Armored Titan,Bertholdt is the Cart Titan,Reiner is the Jaw Titan and Annie is the Beast Titan. What if Zeke and Pieck rescued both Reiner and Bertholdt and so Eren let Armin ate him.
