How about Bug Types? I know Ash has got plenty of those, like, Levanny, Butterfly, Heracross, and that’s all I can think of that would be in Ash’s Bug Team. I know he has more bugs, but I can’t think of them right now. I thought of nothing more than bug, because I believe bug types need more appreciation in the series, don’t you agree?

*ONLY READ THIS AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO!* Sadly, halfway through editing, the video corrupted and I lost so much of the progress I made - especially in regards to the final 1/3 of the video, where I usually discuss the team in terms of game logic with the help of my friends, Albab and Gre. I didn’t have time to recreate it all, but I hope reading the script below will make up for that! This is what Albab and Gre said about the team! Abomasnow is the most important team member, since its Snow Warning ability can set up hail and make it so Blizzard never misses. Jynx is fast and a strong attacker, especially with Nasty Plot, but sadly she’s insanely frail. The poor thing could even die to a Pidgey Peck! Rotom Frost has the deadly Thunderbolt + Blizzard combo which can be tough the counter, and it has other options too like Thunder Wave and Will-o-Wisp. Also, its Levitate ability is good for dealing with Ground types. Mega Glalie is a fast attacker with Refrigerate boosted attacks, and it can even use Explosion if the going gets tough. Lapras’s resistance to Fire, Steel and Water types is great, and with Gigantamax, it can set up Aurora Veil for the team, too. Sadly, just like in the Water type team, Buizel lacks hugely in offense and defense, and since Abomasnow’s Snow Warning will often set up the weather, its Rain Dance may not be too useful. Overall, the team’s nature is super inconsistent - it’s not wholly offensive, or defensive, or balanced. And it does have some big weaknesses, both type-wise and entry hazard-wise. But it’s still a fun team to battle with, even if it has big issues. :D

@@idosomethingiguess3680 Glalie doesn't learn Rapid Spin in the games, I think your talking about the "spinning Headbutt" Ash used against the oopenents in the league, like Pokeferlax mentions in the video...hopefully that clears up the issue...so the team doesn't have a rapid spin user

All admit bro. You got me on the ice type since ash only owned two types but I really liked the ideas. Buizel was a surprise but it makes so much sense because of a player sends out a fire type then buizel would be used to uncover that weakness and if a player sends out a steel type. Rotom would be a perfect way to intercept since it’s an electric and ice type. Also cover for the next video if ash was a dragon type champion.

Go Jynx! I want ash to have one. One that is very compedative and is a force to be reckoned with. Where the hair becomes freaky with a crazy powerful Psychic and Blizzard. I can se it aslo to be a bit of a comical relief with the kissis and all. I would love that Acually. A Scary Jynx with a tragic backstory if the one Ahs meet doesn't get caught. In where you pick the Pokémon Ash has that could mega evolve and consider if greninja would be in the team along with his Lucario which has mega evolved in the series.

This team is super solid, especially with all the secondary typings and synergistic abilities. I'm curious what your friends say about this team's prowess in competitive though. Abomasnow + Snow Warning and Aurora Veil would be the heart of the team. Glalie would be the main powerhouse, Lapras the tank, Jynx the late-game sweeper, and Rotom the wildcard. Buizel is def the weakest member, but it deserves to be here story-wise. Great coverage across the board, and although Ice is generally a bad typing, I think this team could fare well. (Don't take what I just said seriously HAHAHAHAHA) I also think Eiscue and Galarian Darmanitan would be great additions! Also, no Alolan Vulpix?

i think just because buizel have ice move and create a new anime ice move does not mean he can fit in ice team , so i will replace him with a vanilluxe who are the vanillite he save form team rocket in pokemon xy and i don't remember what vanillite ability , if a snow warning he can use a blizzard which is 100% accuracy if in hail and become one of the ash most useful pokemon and also ash can teach him a flash cannon which he can use again a rock type pokemon and also he can use a rain dance for reduce the fire type move and because the rain dance if ash teach the rotom with thunder he can make the thunder 100% accuracy

Honestly, I HATE the idea of having Lapras on the team, for the very reasons you brought up in "5 pokemon Ash shouldn't have caught." However, another pokemon to consider would be Arctovish. If Ash and Goh got another go at recreating fossil pokemon, it makes sense that they'd 'learn' from the last ones and make Dracozolt + Arctovish - with Arctovish going to Ash as the same head as Dracovish means they could communicate - even if it spends a lot of its time upside down/facing away to make up for the fact its head is backwards. They'd also *both* be able to learn Fisheous Rend together. (Take this with a pinch of salt as I haven't watched Journeys yet). Edit: Next type would preferably be Dark or Ghost type. I just really like Sableye, so... XD

Yeah I totally understand your point about Lapras! In the ideal world I wouldn't include it either, since it was definitely more of a friendly wild Pokemon, than Ash's Pokemon.
