There are some episodes and comics that deal with the idea and most either have Bruce disappointed in himself, Bruce's parents disappointed in him, Bruce using his wealth to better Gotham in ways Batman could not etc

On Batman Rebirth run, booster gold saves the Wayne's as a "gift" for BATMAN'S BIRTHDAY, what a smart guy , isn't he? In thay universe, bruce grew up to be a rich, spoiled and selfish brat, BRATMAN

If that happened nobody would be able to stop Bane in his crimes , Catwoman , Penguin , Scarecrow , Riddler and some others would still be there . The only villians that would NOT be there are the Joker and Harley Quinn because if Batman wasn't in the chemical plant Jack Napier would not fall into those chemicals which means he doesn't turn Harley into what she is . So yeah Bane would be biggest treat to Gotham city and cites close to it insted of the Joker .

We actually se this version of Bruce in the Supergirl/Batgirl elseworlds story. There Jim Gordon dies saving the wayes from Joe Chill, and Barbra is adopted by the Wayes and becomes Gothams protector. Bruce is a Tony Stark-esque character, while also acting as Barbara's Alfred (we never see the wayne parents or alfred after the flashback)

If Bruce's parents were never murdered, then no Batman, No one in Gotham would be able to stop the criminals, or the villains, Carmine Falcone and Sal Maroni would still be alive.

There would *definitely* be no one to stop the criminals, especially since a lot of the cops were corrupt, too. The mob would be alive and well. But as for the villains, if there was no Batman, would Gotham still have the same villains it's famous for? The comics sometimes ask if Batman's presence is what creates or invites his psychologically troubled and complex antagonists. Sounds like another video idea!
