Joshua Hernandez Hmm. Gohan SS2 was strongest. Majin Vegeta wasn't strong enough to defeat first Buu. I think if Supreme Kai was alert, he still didn't know about Potara Fusion...even if Gohan+Goku were strong enough to Z-sword, break it, etc, it was still an unlikely sequence of events. I believe Goku learned Fusion Dance in Otherworld, so that is off the table. If they're lucky, Cell would fight him and not get absorbed, lol. It -DID- take Goku,Vegeta,Gohan fighting in the spaceship AND an epic SS2 Goku vs Vegeta fight to provide the power to unlock Buu. So, I would guess that Buu could only be unlocked if he were charging up from the arrival of the Androids through the end of the Cell Games. So they would have no Goku or Cell to fight Buu, just a weakened Gohan and weakened Vegeta. (dead Trunks). Man! They would be in trouble.
