I think what steve probably would done is like you say i think he probably would set it on auto pilot which most likely give him enough time to get out since tony parents probably wouldn't get killed since it would led up to saving bucky

I think the winter soldier out sooner and it would be winter soldier but in the 60s. Cap and Bucky would be a team and Bucky would never kill starks mom. Cap and Bucky would be fighting in the Cold War and beat the Russians including black widow. Cap would get old and pass the shield to Bucky, who would later become the leader of the avengers.

Yeah I don't like how this alt timetime is still shafting my boy Bucky. I say move everything with Isaiah Bradley to the Veitnam War because everything about Bucky being in the Korean War is a silly retcon and messes with his established backstory. Also in the comics, Bucky was involved in Veitnam, and in the movies its made clear he wasn't activated until the '60s. Have Bucky rescued much earlier and put him on the original Avengers Team, maybe as the alternative Captain America. He and Steve might have discoveed the HYDRA influence in SHIELD earlier, and Bucky might even have been able to prevent the events of Age of Ultron due to his knowledge of HYDRA and their operations. For example, Bucky would have been dead set against Tony rescuing Ultron because the facility they got him from was associated with HYDRA. He might also have been able to help Wanda too because he had direct experience of mind control and brainwashing under HYDRA and might well have realized what happeed to Wanda and her brother was similar to what HYDRA did to him. So they get the knowledge of Ultron's intentions and Wanda on the team sooner and are able to stop Ultron sooner. Wanda then becomes a sort of daughter/little sister figure to Bucky, helping prevent some of her later actions. Bucky Cap could still clash with Ross over government over-reach in Civil War only this time they're hunting Hulk instead of him. We all know Ross has it in for Hulk. So, Bucky protects him and Nat sides with Cap instead of Tony because of her friendship with Hulk leading to a relationship between her and Bucky more akin ot the one in the comics. This could still bring them into conflict with Iron Man and others. Maybe Tony is still resentful of Bucky opposing him over Ultron or Ultron is released in Civil War even to fight Hulk. This vid seems too determined to put Captain Marvel in everything. We don't need her.

I don't think that Steve would be ok with Zola joining SHIELD since unlike Peggy, Philipps or Howard, Steve had a personal hatred for him. This I believe would lead to a clash between Steve and SHIELD since Steve did what he considered morally good instead of following the law. PS: There's a great fanfic series called "A Colder War" (1st part: An Early Thaw and 2nd part: The Arctic Front) on AO3 written by ironychan where the premise is that Steve froze but came out of the ice in 1986. So he meets older Peggy and Howard who became very jaded by the Cold War which leads to clashes.

The stupid retcons about Isaiah Bradley meeting Bucky in the Korean War need to be cut out, because they totally contradict his established backstory. Actually they could be kept with minor alteratoion: namely Bradley fought in the Veitnam War, not the Korean War. The Winter Soldier was not operative until the 1960s, we know this from the movies, so this would not contradict his previous backstory. Win. win. The serum used later could have been made from Bucky's blood like the mind control serum used on the Black Widows was.
