I really like how Takuma was handled in survive. We weren't exactly the leader starting off nor did we command others, we just somehow ended up as a leader as the game progressed because we usually had the final say in how we move on forward and people kept on relying on us more and more later on. The characters even acknowledged it and made several comments on how Takuma's the leader of the group even though we have Aoi and others older than him.

As Saki is my favorite character in Survive, it sort of makes sense that Chlorismon is my favorite of this set. She gives me feeling of being an aid or a lower ranking angel like being in the service of a higher holy being or godly being. And given one of Floramon's megas in Survive (not spoiling anything), it makes sense. Also it's just straight up beautiful.

I love all the mythological ties with this batch. Miragedramon's clam shell and pearls are so perfect coming from Syakomon that you can just picture the evolution sequence in your head. It would also make a great segue into Hisyaryumon as an alternative ultimate.

Honestly, it also works really well into Shyakkomons actual line in the game spoilers for the line I guess with Shyakkomons alternate Mega already being Qinlongmon, which of course also is a chinese dragon with "pearls" or rather orbs floating around it. The name "shen" also seems to directly reference a star in the constellation that Qinlongmon references/is based on, the "dragon star". I also thought that the shen had a relation to mermaids, which could link it to Shyakkomons regular Ultimate Mermaimon and even technically the regular Mega MarineAngemon, but appearently not, although I guess you could say that the "mermaids" that we know also create illusions, similarly to the Shen, to lure in people to devour them.

Something I thought of after was that you could also have a line going from Miragedramon into Waru or Megaseadramon, then into Metalseadramon. That way you could have a Dark Master as it's dark digivolution line.

@yukiandkanamekuran Nope, not quite! It's both actually! I will often give mythological basis or ideas in my pitches and ideas for the video and add mythological or natural basis once I receive a design and sometimes artists will too. It's a very collaborative process. For example I came up with the name Barghestmon and the links to black dogs for SomeGuy944's design while Alltrade decided to give me the names/descriptions for Darnemon and Storgemon but it's never requested or demanded. 70% of the time for videos I'm coming up with the mythological links, blurbs, attacks etc unless an artist specifically decides to give me something they want said out loud. I actually prefer coming up with the lore for the designs myself :)

I kinda feel like Aoi should have gotten Reliability/Sincerity, as that's what I personally associate her with the most. And Takuma should have gotten Friendship, as all of his decisions are made for his friends, for their wellbeing, and when someone does die, though he keeps it bottled up, I think he might actually be hit the hardest by it. He forces himself to move on, but to always check-in with people who he knows is suffering. Hope could have worked for him too, as the group tends to put all their hopes on him.

As someone who just beat Survive for the second time, wooooo boy do I love these. Makes me wish Bandai did more with the Armor Evolutions, as they have such great potential. Picking a favorite out of these is difficult…probably Floramon’s. It’s adorable as heck and Saki is one of my favorite characters from the game. Always love seeing the custom art stuff Karn! Great evolutions but I have made different choices in my headcanon for the crests: SPOILER . . . . . . Courage: Minoru is indeed a perfect fit for courage and has to overcome his fears towards Falcomon and the kemonogami to allow him to evolve further Friendship: Ryo is an outcast at first that can't open to others, in failing to do so he dies alone, his only hope is to open up to others and build friendship before its to late Love: Aoi, like was said in the video is the "mom" of the group, not unlike Sora was in Adventure Sincerity(jp): Shuuji is basically an older Jo and struggles with similar trauma towards his family's expectations and has to be honest with himself to overcome it and become a better person Knowledge: Akiharu as discovering and knowing things is his job and, like Koshiro in Adventure, is the main source of information about the world and the past. moreover his whole arc is to regain knowledge of his childhood Purity(jp): Miu is the naive but caring Mimi of the group, mischievious in appearance she eventually shows kindness and affection towards her "servants" and her brother Hope: Saki, secretly in despair with her illness she has to overcome this and start having hope again for the future Light: Miyuki, is litterally a priestess and reminds me a lot of Hikari, and Renamon is behaving a lot like Tailmon when she worked for Vamdemon Kindness: Kaito is brutal and full of anger in appearance and has to overcome his rage toward the world to just be himself , a caring brother Destiny: Takuma, its kind of a meta choice, since Takuma is the only character that can make choices in the game, being the protagonist, of him will depend the fate of the world and only him can save everyone.

I like how the friendship crest works. Gabumon is fire based, Garurumon is fire based, WereGarurumon is for some reason earth based, MetalGarurumon is ice based, then Raidramon is electricity based. What is with he crest of friendship man? Like seriously each line of the digidestined has a special element theme for it, Agumon fire, Biyomon fire, Gomamon water/ice, Tentomon electricity, Palmon grass/plants, Patamon light/holy, Gatomon light/holy, then Gabumon fire fire earth ice electricity.

I'd like a dlc were a new main character is an estranged sibling of one the characters, possibly as a Kari rephrase give them a Digimon that was an enemy in the main game, I'd personally give them the big bad as their partner. Maybe have a plot line be were the siblings have to deal with whatever caused the rift in the first place and how they deal with their issue can have a major effect on the game or ending.
