Eirika and Ephraim are Gardevoir and Gallade, right? Right? I think their bond as twins shouldn't be overlooked, so they should have complementary pokemon. Gardevoir perfectly fits Eirika's devoted, caring and graceful nature, while still being willing to enter the fray to protect others.

I have a suggestion for Alear: Silvally. It isn't worshipped like the ones you mentioned, but i found the entries it has relating to "The bonds it formed allowed it to free itself from its mask" to be quite similar to Alear's story. Plus it can be any type, and Alear can be any class (ok anybody can be any class in Engage but work with me here)

Regarding Sigurd, did you know that while regular Kingambit is red, *shiny* Kingambit is blue? Now THAT would have been a perfect fit for the warmongering lord. What better way to show how special the leader is by having them have a super rare variant of an extremely powerful pokemon? Actually, now that I think about it, having the lords signature mons be shinies opens up a lot more possibilites for color coordination with their partner. But that, of course, would require a lot more searching...

Of fucking course Sigurd's mon is weak to fire. Also Gastrodon would fit Leif with the whole racism thing. Growlithe also works with Roy because with a small powerup (Fire Stone/Binding Blade respectively) they become incredibly strong.

I have my own suggestions for a few of the lords that are different from yours. For Ike, I'd pick Lucario. It's a Fighting-type, which I think fits his personality. Its blue aura fits his title as the Hero of Blue Flames. In addition, its ability to sense the feelings of others through auras fits his ability to bond with others, and it could also be a nod to his alleged descendant Priam. Ike would start out with a Riolu at the beginning of FE9, it would become a Lucario when he promotes to a lord, and it would gain the ability to Mega Evolve in the endgame of FE10. For Micaiah, I'd pick Absol. Its ability to predict misfortune fits her prophetic powers. It being a Dark-type fits her dark affinity. It's also misunderstood, just like the Branded are. Like Ike's Lucario, Micaiah's Absol would gain the ability to Mega Evolve during the endgame. For Edelgard, I'd pick Silvally. They've both been experimented on and given powers based on the gods of their settings. Type: Null evolving into Silvally through its bond with its trainer fits Edelgard reaching her fullest potential through her bond with Byleth. Edelgard would have a Type: Null before the timeskip, and it would only evolve into Silvally on Crimson Flower. For Dimitri, I'd pick Hisuian Zoroark. Its existence as a vengeful spirit that lacerates its own body fits Dimitri's self-destructive tendencies in his pursuit for vengeance. Its ability to disguise itself fits Dimitri hiding his true intentions for most of the academy phase. It's also shown to have a gentler side when interacting with Hisuian Zorua, which is fitting for when he eventually mellows out. He would have a Hisuian Zorua before the timeskip, and it would evolve into Hisuian Zoroark during the timeskip as he falls further into his madness.

*Preface* This is an absolutely amazing video and I think many of the picks are pretty spot on. These are a few that I think would probably suit a bit better. *Alm x Aggron* Alm's character is about a few things. He is a protector - he cares for the land and the people. He is a warrior - he solves conflict with sheer power. He is foolhardy - he stops at nothing to protect his country. To me, Aggron seems like a perfect fit. Aggron's entries describe it as being protective of its environment, restoring its own territory after it is ravaged, and using brute force to drive away those who would invade their lands. The Pokemon Shield entry also mentions "a king who wore an aggron helmet, trying to channel the pokemon's strength", which is a very cute allusion to Alm actually being king. *Micaiah x Latias* Micaiah's character is mainly around sacrifice. She is a gentle and loving person, but would willingly lay down her own life, pride and reputation to save others and provide peace and resolution to the world. Latias' entries describe it being innately attuned to emotions, with its down refracts light. Its also one of the few pokemon that learns the move "Healing Wish", a move which mimics Micaiah's signature sacrifice skill (downing herself to heal her allies). *Edelgard x Reshiram* Edelgard's character mainly revolves around revolution, truth, and change. Reshiram's entries describe it as a Pokemon which "helps those who wish to build a world of truth". And actually, I would argue Reshiram IS the closest Pokemon to Martin Luther LOL. "According to myth, if people ignore truth and let themselves become consumed by greed, Reshiram will arrive to burn their kingdoms down" - this is basically a 1:1 of Edelgard, even matching her flame motif. She is willing to set the world ablaze to expose the lies of the church and build a new, better world founded in truth and equality.

Kamui having Dragonite is honestly a cool idea! I've seen some Japanese artists draw him also with the Goomy line, too. Goodra being a very peaceful and friendly dragon totally fits! The whole "split evolution" with Kalosian and Hisuian forms, was their thought that it'd fit for him. Also Keldeo in terms of owning a legendary. Part of me also thought Miraidon (shiny form) because it does remind me of Kamui's Silent Dragon form. At least to me it does. Perhaps I'm a tad biased as Miraidon is one of my favorites.

Okay, I have to laugh at how hilarious it is to imagine Ike, this absolute unit of a man and these tiny little mice on his shoulders, only for the camera to pan to Micaiah and her giant thunder dragon deity. My favorite pairs are probably Lyn and Edelgard though. Jumpluff is absolutely the kind of pokemon Lyn would adore, and even if someone found another good match Jumpluff is definitely making the team.. The parallels with Edelgard and Absol meanwhile are just perfect. You asked for them, so I also thought up a few alternatives. For alear I think Type Null and Silvaly is a perfect pairing. Type Null was a pokemon created for a purpose, but it was uncontrollable. Some might even say Defective? (Yes I know that's more Veyle's thing but shhh) Type Null was also violent and dangerous, only for a strong bond of trust to awaken their true potential. Kinda like how Lumera helped Alear turn from a fell dragon to a divine one. The memories also function as a kind of homage to the emblem rings, even though we know they'd use the dragon one mostly. For Hector I think Honedge is a phenomenal team member. Even if you don't want to give it as his ace, that thing is straight up just Armads. A weapon that curses its wielder and dooms them to death? Do I really need to say more? I honestly thing Eevee would be a great pokemon to give Corrin. The entire story of fates is built around choices, and you can't deny Eevee embodies that. Heck, the yato even has different forms based on the route. And just for fun Itsuki and Meloetta is a slam dunk. Idol pokemon, strong influences on the emotions and motivations of others. Heck it even transforms, which could be a perfect parallel for whatever they called it in TMS. If you were doing full teams for these lords I legit think there would be a fight over Basculegion. Clad in the souls of people who fell before fulfilling their goals. Could go to Seliph or Lucina perfectly. Heck, almost everyone from Elibe can at least try to make a claim for it, even if it wouldn't be as strong. Sigurd meanwhile, needs a ceruledge. It is literally the lingering resentment of a swordsman who didn't reach his goal. That would also give it and Seliph's potential basculegion a neat little parallel. Plus, you know, a fire ghost type is hella ironic considering the barbeque he got invited to.

Fun fact: Before Tokyo Mirage Sessions was a crossover with Shin Megami Tensei, Intelligent Systems originally wanted to make a Fire Emblem x Pokémon game. However, at the time, Pokémon was already doing a crossover with Nobunaga's Ambition, which eventually became Pokémon Conquest.

Sigurd would have a Bewear. He tries to do good but his actions have massive consequences for his allies, such as Bewear hugging its trainer to death. Bewear also has the ability Fluffy, which makes it weak to fire attacks. This has no relation to Sigurd but I thought it was neat to mention.

I think Gardevoir for Lucina fits especially well as the latter disguises herself as a man whereas the former's meant to be quite androgynous, having the Japanese name Sirknight. There's probably a parallel to Lucina revealing her true identity, letting herself forge bonds with Chrom and his army to become stronger and Gardevoir's mega evolution too, seeing as there was a whole bond thing with that before they retconned mega evolution as violent and painful

I've always thought everyone's favorite not-quite-dragon could be a good pick for Ike: Charizard not only is a powerhouse like the Radiant Hero, it also enjoys fighting against strong opponents, showing its true power against the best of the best. One of its ultimate forms, Mega Charizard X, has blue flames as well, just like the ones Ike gets with Yune's blessing. Might as well go for the other Tellius lord: while I like your idea of pairing Lucina and Gardevoir, I think Micaiah can also go well with the Embrace Pokémon. Both are powerful casters, can see the future, and are willing to give their lives for the people they love.

I'd say Zekrom (or even Reshiram) would be far more fitting for Edgelord. Micaiah strikes me more as the Chancey/Blissey type (Softboiled literally sacrifices part of the user's HP to heal an ally when used outside of battle) while shiny Gardevoir and Gallade are right there for Eirika and Ephraim.

Since you just finished Vision Quest, I’d say Storch would have a Dugtrio. A simple hard working pokemon for simple hardworking man. Dugtrio can be used for farming, so it’s one he’s probably have from the start. And since he’s also super family oriented, each Diglett would represent his brothers and himself… a missing diglett would be super sad though, it’d just be a Dugduo. Waluyo I’d give a Xatu since it fits his Native American inspired design AND he already has a fortune teller in Bulan, so it’d be a way to get out of paying her. Titus is an interesting one. I’d say he’d start with a relatively weak but kind pokemon, maybe a Ralts. He’d eventually evolve it into a Gardevoir, which is incredibly loyal.. but he’d throw it out and replace it with an incredibly strong legendary pokemon to suit his ambitions. So Mewtwo. Of course he can’t really control it and it will eventually betray him

I think Alear should be Sylveon, because Sylveon evolves from Eevee when you care for it, and Lumera care for Alear and imbuing them with her powers for so long is not only what brought them back, but it's what made them into a divine dragon. Also, Alear is, probably unintentionally, a great trans allegory, and Sylveon's palette, both normal and shiny, is the trans flag. And we know Alear loves cute little puppy creatures bc of Sommie. I rest my case your honor.

I will update this as I watch the video and maybe offer a stupid funny opinion. Marth: I agree pretty strongly, but offering an alternate perspective, Marth in Awakening is almost always revered as a legendary warrior and also very cool dude (which goes entirely against your point about anri I realise) and so Hero-King Marth being something like Zacian would be cliche but make sense. Alm and celica: WTF PASSIMIAN MENTIONED!! Oranguru celica real. I've always pictured Celica as a very cliche Delphox/braixen (mayeb even cos of pokken lol), which makes Alm...Chesnaught...? Anyway, of headstrong, action-taking pokemon I think of something like Gallade. Celica can be Gardevoir in that case I suppose. So yeah, Chesnaught/Delphox or Gallade/Gardevoir lol. Roy: all the women (shanna and melady) do all the work tbh. Rutger is an honorary woman. growlithe is cool. I like it. No comments. Alternate out of the blue pick...larvesta, because you gotta wait long for it to become cool. lyn: Leafeon, so eliwood can be flareon and hector can be...fuck. Alternatively, hoeen trio for them of swords, bulky blue guy and...fuck. We've also made Lyn an archer now because the sol katti sucks so she can take decidueye though... eliwood: rapidash because he has a honse. Alternatively, ceruledge in fe6 because he's basically a ghost. hector: blue, electric and bulky? that's right, rotom-wash ephraim: which pokemon loves to stab things and is also blue? That's right hisuian samurott. Ceaseless edge, send it. eirika: keldeo because they're inexperienced and all that. baby. Chrom: Idk why I always put him with lucario. ship it, send it.
