Most of the characters are pretty smart, so they'd be able to easily determine who killed even without the help of the adepti or Zhongli, so even if Yanfei was the one killed, they'd be able to figure it out without a problem. I also imagine they wouldn't be so fast to point fingers (or would at least be able to retract their statement without having the accused try to defend themselves) TL;DR: Yanfei isn't the only intelligent character- 90% of them are pretty smart (ig Xiangling and Xinyan would be the only two average folk, maybe Shenhe too?) Since a majority of characters have been shown to be cunning and stuff, so it'd probs be hard to come up with a story with all the smart characters joining forces and cracking the case quickly.

The video said “pieces of his clothes” when Razor disspeared but we found out in the end mona just teleported him to a location so he doesn’t have that much clothes? I’m not sure but I don’t think he got teleported next to sucrose because that would be akward… When the narrator said “all that was left was stands of hair and pieces of clothing” I thought he got incinerated… So then I thought they would need a pyro vission. Someone could have found out the killer in the first part if there was enough detail. I think the glass getting broken from the inside of jean’s office, the broken window is the storage room from the outside, and that noelle and barbra’s alibis are fake. Someone might have been able to find out the killer in the first part. Btw i forgot Mona was a person lol…

spoilers for Jean's story quest she had a stress period in which she needed to take a break from her job, and because this isnt a specified time, it could be a few more months after where Jean also wants to take a break, however instead has a mental breakdown. causing her to think of how Monstadt would have a lot less work for her if it's back to being the Aristocrats and she told Barbruh as (a scientific fact) an average female can only keep a secret for 48 hours. And it was an illogical decision due to Jean's mental breakdown. very wild theory, but its the only one that i can think of that makes any coherent sense

I genuinely didn't like how this mystery was solved and the way it ended so may i propose an alternate and more satisfying ending?: Robot Noelle, a unaware spy made as Sandrone's magnum opus instead of no knight entering jean's office how about we have the knights that are suppose to be on gaurd outside needing leave for a bit for an emergency because they were told by noelle about like a turned over cart or smth, little did they know (as well as noelle) that noelle was the one who cause the emergency and in doing so Jean was left alone, Jean being none the wiser asks noelle what she needs and then next thing Jean knows she's on the ground bleeding out with a large gash on her torso and Noelle is standing above her claymore drawn and face eerily unexpressive with glowing red eyes then everything turns black Noelle's alibi would be that she was out cleaning and was helping the gaurds with the situation that made them leave their post in the first place, plus noelle's claymore was coalesced in Geo energy meaning no blood would have stained her pristine blade, barbara would back her up with this because barbara saw noelle pass by the cathedral in a hurry however albedo noticed something strange, the killing blow that jean sustained was reeking with geo elemental energy and albedo was confused because only 2 people in the whole of mondstatd have geo visions him and noelle and this was had him confused noelle would never do such a thing... right? this has him thinking back to moments of time where noelle's movement was more rigid than usual, hearing the faint sounds of grinding gears and squeaking joints, hearing the beeps that ruin gairds make before using their spin attack when noelle does it then it clicks meanwhile barbara is visiting the morgue that is currently holding jean's body and is talking to it expressing her regret of not being able to spend more time with her sister and expressing how amaxing of a sibling jean was until it devolves into a full blown breakdown with barbara holding her sister cold hand, a hand that once radiated so much warmth and love that is now cold and still, her tears land on jean's hand in globs or sadness but then something miraculous happend jean's hand... begins to move, in fact the slash that jean sustained that ended her life ends up slowly healing then jean gasps and awakens back in the land of the living (c6 barbara rules!!) and jean says something that barbara can barely believe "It was Noelle..*cough* noelle did it" which obviously to barbara makes zero sense because this is noelle we're talking about the sweetest pascifistic miad knight would never do such a thing... would she? sucrose nearly gets a heart attack when jean's vision starts to glow in teal once more showing that the acting grandmaster lives once again which severly confuses sucrose (rosaria by extension with the vision glowing all of a sudden when it was just a grey husk previously) IN the end everyone returns to dawn winery and albedo then starts explaining his thought process on the clues, the window thing is pointed out after he thinks long and hard and soon he points his finger not at mona, but at noelle he then talks about and points out everything odd since this whole mess began from the mysterious cart accident to noelle acting suspicious it all comes to a head when jean herself alive once more makes an appearance then everything goes to hell noelle's eyes go from green to red and she charges for jean, thankfully diluc blocks her attack tho with much difficulty mona and kaeya then set to work by attempting to freeze the now robotic moving noelle, then with a stroke of luck (for once despite bennett's presence) lisa gives a good shock to noelle then razor lands a devastating hit on noelle that accidentally reveals some circuitry, DIluc realises that noelle could be the magnum opus he read about in stolen fatui files years ago during his fatui murder spree, sandrone was in the process of making what was called her magnum opus one of her greatest robotic creations he never found out what she was making but now he knew what, a robotic lifeform that could mimic a human down to the last behavioural stimuli suddenly a robotic automotan appears out of nowehere, tries to land an attack on jean (who thankfully dodges in the nick of time) and then instantly the automoton teleports away leaving an emotionally broken barbara and confused knights in it's wake

Those who might die Ninggang, same case as Jean, also people have reason to end her Hu Tao, sorry guys, but in lore she is very weak Yun Jin, she have a basic training Baizhu Those who might but have reason not too Xingqiu, Martial artist, but a child Xiangling, can hunt, but a child Chongyun, Ok this one is complicated, if someone try to kill him, he will panic and clearly lose control, the thing is, when he lose it, he can either pass out, either being really agressive, so, I don't think Q will try to end him Xinyan: Can protect herself easily and have a shield, BUT- Those who may clearly won't BUT Beidou is a drunkard, and I don't think she could find if someone poison her Keqing, she could be thrown in a blind rage if she found out Ninggang have died, either that, or she is a detective, I don't know her lore to much, but I know that she would be either of the two Yanfei: Despise being pretty powerful, Q will certainly target her Those who won't, clearly Zhongli, do I need to explain 1 Xiao, do I need to explain 2 Ganyu: Again, do I need to explain 3 Shenhe: Powerful human Yelan: Might be the detective, she is very sneaky, and fast, and she can disappear Kazuha: This dude is impossible to catch up with, he is fast, and can disappear easily Q will definitely don't try him if he knew who he is, also, pretty powerful, not only parried an Archon attack, but, RIP those 3 Shogunate

Aether: Who did that? Lisa: It was that astrologist Mona. Aether: *shocked face* Paimon: What?? Later that evening... Mona: What have I done... *breaks down* Paimon: Hey, Mona. It is us. Mona: Traveler, Paimon, you guys are here... Aether: I want to know, why did you do that? Mona explains everything... Paimon: I understand, but you know, killing her is a mortal sin. Like oml she must've had 200% crit dmg and like 200% hydro dmg or smthn cuz I cant believe she was able to take out Jean in a few seconds without being heard (cuz sucrose stumbled upon her body a bit after she died, right?) Also, I feel as if Mona wouldn't have resorted to murder so fast, she probably would've tried telling ppl by showing them that future vision thing, whilst also using it to get proof. If she was killed, I personally think that'd be unfair, since she did it for the sake of the future of Mond. She should just be banned from ever returning or smthn. Also, im *very* surprised that someone as rule abiding as Noelle, wouldn't have hold anyone about it until the very last minute All in all, I enjoyed the murder mystery, tho I hope to hear about what happened after in the Liyue murder mystery.
