Challenger idea for you. Can you win ww2 with only your starting army. So no recruitment of new units or upgrades to equipment. Also no new ships but can capture them in peace deals.

Do Marines only Dutch East Indies. Rules: start as Netherlands, do indies path. Planes only on carriers if you manage to build 1. No space marines. No port guards, unless there marines

the reason why japan declared war on italy in the end its because you gave them Indochina, if you take indochina, malaysia, and indonesia, or give them to ur allies almost everytime japan declares war on the owner, even with the non aggression pact

generally civs shouldn't be your go to and there's no point in building a lot of them because they're paying for themselves really really slowly so most pro players only build a few if any
