That was completely illiterate, both linguistically and theologically. It is in fact blasphemous, transferring the worship that is due to God alone to human beings, and suggesting that God exalts fallen human nature rather than transforming it into the image of Christ. It's not really surprising, given that going by their web site, Common Good Church is what happens when the far left gets religion-not Christianity, mind you, but man-made religion, formed in their own rotten image.

That's my problem with Christian gatherings, assembly, whatever.. It always comes out sounding CRAZZZZZY. Who worshipped the most this week han ? Who's good and who's bad han ? Who has been virtuou$$$$$ ? I think it's better to seek and search alone than to associate with these crowds of blind sheeps who would KILL their children to go to heaven. This is nonsense, textbook definition of insanity to me. I'll worship and follow my own way, as I always have. I will own up to MY mistakes, instead of following some power hungry preacher into the pit by submission. I'm sure God doesn't need slaves. He gave us free will, I'll use mine, thank you. Because God commands me to love others, I say with love that this is very dangerous and a ticket straight to hell. God almighty gets all the glory in worship. The notion that He even needs us, much less worships us, is the most blasphemous thing possible. He is the Creator of everything-all matter, space, time, and living beings. His fallen angel satan somehow got hold of His creation on earth, and he is the instigator of such blasphemy. We are nothing but dead men walking if we do not humble ourselves and admit we are sinners, believe in Jesus as Lord, and confess Him as our Savior. As far as bringing race into this, it is preposterous. Jesus is for all people. Any nationality, race, ethic group.
