I’d love to see this dynamic in the new Monsterverse film! The "wolf and cub" relationship between Godzilla and Lahamu could really set them apart from Kong and Suko while adding depth to Godzilla’s character. It would show a more vulnerable side to him, which could make for some powerful moments, especially if the antagonist tries to exploit that. Watching Godzilla defend Lahamu from threats could be a great way to showcase his protective instincts. If done well, this could really enhance Godzilla's image and bring a more emotional, moving story to the Monsterverse. Great insights in the video!

She reminds him of the pain and struggles he faced when he was young, especially losing his family to a species he came to despise. It’s easy to imagine how Godzilla would empathize with her in that way. I’m sure Lahamu wouldn’t make it easy for Godzilla to earn her forgiveness-after all, nothing worth having comes without effort. But I believe that, in time, she would come to fully forgive him, and their relationship could evolve into something really special. That kind of dynamic shift would be such an interesting and refreshing change, showcasing growth, redemption, and the power of understanding between two powerful creatures.

@@Ibaven-theonlyprobably because of how many kaijus appeared in this film and yes I know that kotm had a whole crap ton of kaijus and a skeleton remains of anguris but probably because Godzilla had a whole completely different model kind of the same with king being bigger than Gvk and was looking more silverbacked than before so maybe that could be the reason also my opinions are Godzilla goes a tier because it was the kickstarter for our monsterverse kong skull island s tier amazing movie and skullcrawler s being introduced in a way that Is damn awesome and kotm is s tier for is amazingly good storyline adding and added most of the kaijus we know today Gvk would go both s tier and a tier for additional storyline and epic fight scenes and then last but not least gxk goes s tier for making Godzilla two steps ahead and kong being the same and it shows us Tiamat and Godzilla easily stealing his energy from Tiamat and the final fight against skar king and shimo and seeing shimo killing skar king along with kong was a Epic scene glad to say this

That said, I agree that I feel like that kind of human/mammal bond has been explored quite a few times already in different films. It would be refreshing to see a different kind of dynamic, especially one between Godzilla and another non-human like creature. While Godzilla is often depicted as a powerful, reptilian force of nature, it’s important to remember that he’s not devoid of emotion. A relationship with someone like Lahamu, for example, could provide a unique perspective, highlighting the depth of Godzilla’s character beyond just his destructive side. Exploring that emotional complexity through a non-human lens would bring something fresh and intriguing to the table.
