I've always thought that the remaining saiyans should've kept their tails. The explanation for them not growing back was that once a saiyan reaches a *base* power level exceeding their Great Ape state, the tails are effectively useless and don't grow back. Even for Dragon Ball Z, this makes no sense. The Great Ape form is a transformation that multiples a saiyan's base power by 10. How can you, in base form, exceed a transformation that multiples your base power?

im pretty sure toriyama never stated the 10x power increase, i think thats just how strong the great ape is naturally, dont blame me if it dont make sense, its dragon ball. for example, if a saiyans great ape form was 15,000 and their power level was 1500, then theyd have their tail. but as soon as their base power level exceeds 15,000, then the great ape is useless. thats just my opinion bases on what toriyama has said, but to all their own ig.

The way I see Saiyans have S cells and Ozaru cells. So in old dragon ball ball GT blutzwaves heavily effects saiyans biology. So what if we introduce the moon back. Now the longer one goes without the moon the harder it is to grow tails. However to make Ozaru on par with super saiyan. Instead of power level increase. Tails grant physical prowess increase. So Stamina and Endurance. What I did is bring back Tarble who serves a Saiyan King. Tarble worked with King Vegeta for insurance. They knew frieza would betray them some day. So they ventured out for habitable planets. Only several hundred saiyans escape and none have great power levels. Yet Tarble says that one saiyan at fruit from the tree of might. In doing they turned into a Gold Ozaru. All the other saiyans are helpless. So Turles been going to other habitable planets planting the tree of might seed. The more life a planet has the more the fruit is ripened. However eating a fruit can overwhelm most mortals. Eating it bringing them to brink of death. So not just anyone can eat these fruits. Since Tarles is a saiyan each time gets to the brink of death and recovers granting more power. Now the fruits don't grant power rather their limit breakers. So Turles went false Super saiyan when he heard planet Vegeta being destroyed. He couldn't turn Super saiyan because Ozaru cells absorb ki. It is harder to reach Super saiyan cause of the conflict between the two. Yet after eating enough might fruit he turned into a golden Ozaru and went on a rampage. Vegeta hears this and follows Tarble. Vegeta surprised to see several Ozarus without the moon. Tarble says the might fruit feeds one's Primal nature. They become mindless berserkers. Vegeta makes short work of most then meets the golden Ozaru. It recognizes Vegeta and tries to speak, but can't. Tarble was a loyal member of the royal family. Yet when he learned Vegeta was alive and did nothing for the saiyans he grew resentment. Vegeta turns blue and is surprised how strong the golden Ozaru is. Yet once he goes ego he makes short work. Turles looking into the sky wonders why prince Vegeta betrayed them. He was suppose to be their savior. So Turles roars out this time he vows he will be the saiyan protector. That he will destroy the earth. Triggering a surge of power turning him into Super Saiyan Primal or 4. This form no ki is exuded. So it appears weak. In truth the body makes use of all the energy within. It is boost in all physical stats. As Vegeta tries to fight Tarles manages to avoid it. This isn't Ultra instinct Turles body just reacts to Ki of others. Primal intuition you call it. With a single punch he nearly breaks through Vegeta defenses. Instead of flying he leaps and dashes. Using claw and bite attacks. Vegeta will try to go for the tail, but unable to. Turles is amazed and at his senses. As Vegeta hits connect they see to be doing no damage. Super Saiyan Primal key features are improved senses, endurance and adaptation. Turles can sense the breath the muscle tension and eye movement. Since Goku is taking angelic route. Vegeta is taking a God of destruction. Broly probably taking the mortal route. So Turles will take the beast route. Vegeta isn't being pushed to hard, but is intrigue in the saiyans strength. He never knew a form like this existed. Tarble thinks Vegeta is being pushed back. So it takes a bite of might fruit. Turning Tarble into a berserker. Stopping their fight before a winner. Turles promises Vegeta that one day he will destroy the earth. If he values humans over his own people he will end him. Vegeta scoffs and welcomes the challenge. So Goku will have Broly to train his way. Whilst Vegeta will have Turles to train his own. Turles gets major factor is the Zenkai boost. Vegeta wants him to be the protector of saiyans. Turles and a few others prove the only ones to able to eat the might fruit without going full berserker. Only those who mastered their Ozaru can do it. Vegeta doesn't want this cause it is cheat to him. Turles does whatever it takes. Takes probably 10 years for a single fruit to be creates. So it can't be spammed.

There's a lot to gain from the Cell Saga. It's a point of experimenting, after all. The introduction to Goku's true potential as a Saiyan has been gone over, so now it's time to expand on that potential forward. The original showed us that Goku isn't the only Super Saiyan, and that Super Saiyan is not the highest level a Saiyan can reach. Same case here; Goku has three transformations to his name, the other Saiyans having two, and they all present broader skillsets, not to mention whole years go by in days thanks to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, giving a lot of time for said experiments.

I personally disagree with that simply because there isn’t actually any proof in the series that cell can use the actual transformations of any of the fighters he has dna of. He might just be using the super saiyan aura and not the actual for itself because think about it. Besides imperfect, semi perfect, and perfect, can he actually use another character’s transformation? And if he can to what extent? If he can use ssj and ssj2, what about great ape? Or what about all of Frieza’s suppression forms besides golden that actually morph the body? It would be inconsistent to say he can use ssj which is a transformation but not others that would morph his body and that’s why I don’t believe him having the aura of ssj and ssj2 is enough to prove that he actually has those forms

So something I noticed that doesn’t get mentioned much is the fact that the special beam cannon gives a 3x amp to the user when in use, which is why piccolo was able to kill Raditz with the help of goku. The reason I mention this is because the power levels typically shown for frieza saga piccolo in certain scenarios would be super Op if this were taken into account. His Power Level here was 6 million after fusing with nail which would mean he would be pretty darn close to frieza (in his earlier forms) assuming he used the SBC. A similar thing happens with the light grenade, which amps around the same amount of 3-4x. Just wanted to point this out for future reference. (Note: the SBC and LG do have a power difference depending on charge which is why the multipliers for SBC and LG only really apply to those specific encounters. A prime example is the use of the LG in the manga. Piccolo over here trying to nuke everyone inside the dome lol.) Edit: lmao I totally mixed up the multipliers with the kaioken x10. Idk I’m kinda stupid like that lol. Thanks to everyone who pointed that out!

Not sure if you know this channel but his theory applies here. There's a channel that makes sprites of dragon ball characters fighting, the channel is hyojin or smthn like that. In one of his what ifs he made it so that what if gt goku went up against super goku (pre tournament of power) in 1/3 of the video gt goku went to ssj3 and he was overwhelming God goku, goku obviously is wondering why his ki instant dropping when is ssj3 and gt goku explains that because he kept his tail it helped regulate and eventually fully master ssj3

Something to note, is this timeline King Cold never went to earth, so it would be impossible for Cell to have Frieza's cells, making him weaker but it would not change things that much. I just think is weird for Cell to access wrath form without a monkey tail btw, same with the rest of the transformations.

fun fact, the ability he is refering too is known in the saiyan backstory. the one where they controll the great ape. it was used by leaders of the hunt so that way they could control everyone else after transforming, so technically goku should have been able to control gohan in the beginning but i guess they left that detail out.

Now for a Saiyan case the tail gives all improvements base on why a monkey has them most notability ( flexibility/balance/mobility ) and the bonus of another arm. in theory you can say in super even tho they have touch first steps of god hood this means this is not the optimal ( build/strength/method ) for goku and vegeta. based on what wiz says about the usage of energy and the moment ultra instinct is similar concept of Chinese cultivation. so in other words goku + tail = new method of usage of energy plus new found improvements to both body and fighting style.

@@thequagiestsire SSJ4 does not age you into an adult, that's just SaladSaiyan's mistaken assumption. Remember why Goku was a child in GT, he'd been transformed with Black Star Shenron's magic. Normal Shenron has, several times in the past stated "That wish is beyond my power" What happens in GT when Goku transforms into SSJ4 is that his power rises beyond the constraints of Black Star Shenron's power and he returns to being an adult, and when he loses the ability to sustain SSJ4, the curse of Shenron's magic claims his body again. The transformation back and forth is aided by the transformation magic of Shenron anyway. And the pants? Well those are the same kind of pants that kid goku had on, mustard-yellow and all, they're just sized up, and we can attribute that to the magic as well.

3 things i would change it: 1. When they do the fusion dance as wrathful ssj gogeta has black hair instead of red 2. Ssb dose not exist,they combined wrathful super saiyan with super saiyan god creating wrathful super saiyan god (Basically ssj4 with red hair) 3. Hold up Golden Freiza is suppose to be on the same level as Super Saiyan God or just slightly below Super Saiyan Blue so he shouldn't have had trouble with the other Z fighters who aren't on the level of Super saiyan God. Perfect Cell is initially at least 2x stronger than Super Vegeta. Super Vegeta is stronger than Semi Perfect Cell, who is stronger than an Imperfect Cell Stronger than the same Androids 17 and 18 who were stronger than him in the original. Vegeta trained Super Saiyan a little, but did not achieve Ascended SuperSaiyan, he should be about 3-5 times weaker than Perfect Cell before the great Ape Transformation.

The thing is a Saiyan Tail, let's the user have access to ALL of their Power, this can be later on taped into once at a Level where they surpass the Powerlevel of 20.000 (from what is shown with Vegeta) and are ready to Go SSJ, atleast Physically The Tail also helps in Mastery over the SSJ Forms and let's the Saiyans have access to SS4, plus it apparently Evolves the SSJ Level even further
