I always thought I didn't understand why Gojo didn't pay attention to his friend's suffering? But then I looked back at myself, at all of us, sometimes we really don't see what's going on with our friends, they may be smiling as usual but hiding the pain inside them. We should always pay attention to changes in the behavior of our loved ones. Your work is just beautiful! Watching it for the 4th time now and can't hold back the tears. 😭😭😭

i know you elaborated and other people have explained, but i always see people say this and i don’t really understand why! like, the thing about gojo not “paying attention”, i think that him asking how he was doing a year later after the whole ordeal was a clear mirror to how gojo had been checking in and geto constantly pushed him away. even in the outro, the fighting fish, etc. the white fish got closer and closer to geto, he closed his eyes and ignored it, pushed it away. gojo watched sadly as getos fish swam away, he definitely cared and worried about his friend. geto was the one who couldn’t open up. and it’s really hard to do ❤ i don’t think either one of them should be blamed 🥺

To be fair, most people don't know how to turn compassion into a verb. We're a lot like Gojo in that we don't necessarily notice the depth of suffering of our loved ones and we're a lot like Geto in that we keep our sufferings to ourselves. So whilst this is the ideal situation it's very rarely the reality, Gege makes us hurt because it's too close to the truth
