Today I'll be continuing a heavily requested scenario, one that isn't actually as clear-cut as it may seem. On Namek, things go a little different, and Krillin wishes for Porunga to make Goku immortal. How does this change the stort? Let's find out!

If Goku and Vegeta were both immortal then they could alternate between fighting at ssj and base. this would make them 50 times stronger in each zenkai. They would surpass Jiren in their base in less than 1 year

@@xooox_1777 they could basicaly do this multiple times: 1) Goku uses super saiyan 2) Goku beat up Base form Vegeta (until he regenerates with enough Zenkai boosts to fight on with super Saiyan Goku in his base) 3) repeat steps 1 and 2 but with the roles reversed ( repeating all steps non) Each time they reach the third step they are 2500 times stronger than the last time (with the exeption of the first time they reach, which should only be 50 times)

Well.. Zenkai boosts aren't limited by who does the damage, only that damage is done and it brings them to the brink of death (According to Vegeta). For example, Cell (who wasn't immortal) still got a Zenkai boost from his self-destruction, not only bringing him back up to his perfect form but also increasing his power level to almost equal that of a Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

I feel like a lot of the time, you tend to kill off 17 & 18 in your what if's, even though they're supposed to be very different from their future counterparts from the very beginning, at least in the present timeline. In this what if in particular, while they probably would have attacked Goku, they most certainly wouldn't have actually gone through with killing him; the only one they killed in the Anime, who had it coming. Also, wouldn't Goku have at least given them a chance, or at least just subdue instead of outright killing them?

I feel like if Universe 6 had won and wished for Universe 7's Earth to be taken to Universe 6, Zeno would have been displeased enough to just erase the Universes without the ToP. The reason he even had a peek at the Tournament of the Two Universes was because he was seeing how these gods were so damn lazy that they'd instead just mess with other universes just for easy fixes, seeing Goku and his team fighting (as well as Beerus making the wish to help Champa instead) made him reconsider just erasing the universes and instead gave them a chance to redeem themselves. If Champa's team had won, that would have been the end.

Saiyans can't get Zenkai's from self inflicted damage. Vegeta mentions it on Namek when he asks Krillin to blow a hole through his chest so he could get stronger. The only exception to this is Cell who blew himself up and got stronger which was either Cell being granted exceptions like how he's able to regenerate himself after the instant Kamehameha using Piccolo's Cells despite the fact Namekians can't regenerate if they lose their head or it was just an oversight on Toriyama's part as he had mostly written Zenkai's out of the show at that point and hadn't used them in the story since Namek so he forgot how they work

What would happen if future bulma created a fusion item during the androids? As to how is after one of gohan's rounds of fighting against the androids, bulma thought of a way to make him stronger, which is fusion. She created a device to which would fuse the two users equipping it, and since she had a lack of resources (because of the time machine) the fusion timer is lower than the fusion dance, and is also severely weaker.

I'm pretty sure a "death" had to happen in order for the corruption to actually take effect, since the fusion wasn't "killed" the Goku side wouldn't die and cause the corruption to occur

Immortality removes any gain that he could possibly get from being injured or even when you're working out, since when you work out you're damaging your muscles very slightly and your body repairs them thus making you stronger. Since he's Immortal now he wouldn't be able to actually gain strength, at least with Dragon Ball Z immortality

​@@derplololol9717 Same thing by friend, immortality in dbz/dbs means he will not sustain damage at all, even self dealt damage(scientifically to get stronger, the body heals small rips in your muscle, since they wouldn't stay and just heal back to their original state. He will literally never grow in strength, never tiring but never gaining power. Immortality is invulnerability, hakai aside.

@thunder key in the manga zamasu refused to diffuse, he kept the fusion together as well as regenerated multiples of zamasu, it's inconsistent. Immortality repairs the muscle as it was before it was injured. Meaning it won't gain any mass and it won't lose any Mass. Majin Buu's regeneration isn't 100% like immortality and he's never had to gain muscle through training. And the one time he did gain muscle in super he returned to his fat self later on

I agree. immortality + zenkai? that's a serious powerboost. now... if we had two saiyans and used the chamber to train non-stop... in a few years (outer time) they would be absurdly powerful. even by dragon ball standards. how many transformation would they have after hundreds of years training non-stop? having over a dozen zenkai each day for centuries? they would become impossible powerful.

Thats bullshit, the scaling makes no sense. Your merging two bodies. In that process the positive traits of both bodies are kept and worse traits removed if better exists. The power of the two if compatible combine equally or if not slightly less so. Pretty much everyone thinks its this magical ultra scaling situation which its not. Something explained in various potara commentary. Much like how everyone thinks UI is a magical power boost, which its also not. Which is explained on season one by whis. It simply removes bodies limiters to operate freely. If your body was not suppressed to 40% muscle strength. You would significantly be stronger. This is a protection your body has to protect its structural system. Untrained that one burst of strength will damage many things. It doesn’t with them because hi ki flow which strengthens the body.
