What If Universe 7 had time to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber before the Tournament of Power?

Before the Tournament of Power, there is only a 40 hour window for the 8 Universes involved to assemble their teams, but this doesn't leave enough time for Universe 7 and the Z Fighters to train before the final arc of Dragon Ball Super had to begin. However, what if there were 72 hours before the Tournament of Power began? What if the Z fighters of Universe 7 used the extra day to train with Whis in the room of Spirit and Time/hyperbolic time chamber? And what if all the Z Fighters had their potential unlocked by Elder Kai before the Tournament of Power? It's a lot to go over so let's jump into it!

You know when the elder kai said there was a time limit part of me just thought well why not use the hyperbolic time chamber? I assumed that they didn't do it because the elder kai needed to be in a calm environment when he unlocked gohan's potential and the fact that the time chamber makes your body kind of heavy also that the air was thicker making it hard to breath. So if the elder kai can be able to do this in whatever environment I wonder why they didn't suggest it couldn't of been a matter of time even when super buu was on the look out he was taking him the long way that pretty much gave goten and trunks weeks to months to train. Androids is a hard one, they do have human bodies but the potential in dragon ball is left kinda unclear, is it physical potential or ki potential, cause if it is physical then there is no problem with androids getting potential unlocked but if the form is ki based (like almost everything there) then the androids cant get it due to their lack of ki

2:26 Potential Unleashed doesn't have a multiplier, its about the potential of the fighter, they could be able tu surpass even SSJ 3 as well as not even surpass SSJ 1 but only in terms of raw power, not in multiplication of power

that is true, up until they use it. The potential unleashed just means they have more to work with, but it sits there until they use it. If a person of 2500bp at 100% got the rest of their potential unleashed so that it triples their maximum output to 7500, they would still be at 2500 until they used their full power. So it is a kind of multiplier in the term that their maximum output is increased.

@Evan Morel Ok so, I feel like people have forgotten that the thing with Gohan was he was born with not only prodigal talent but also an immense natural energy reserve that he could not access. Guru helped with some of it, and Elder Kai unlocked all of it so if Goku were to get his potential unlocked (which could've already been done by the ultra divine water) then it would either be Frieza saga Z level or SSJ2 Buu Level. I'm personally of the opinion that were an Ultimate Vegeta to have happened he would have been Majin Vegeta lvl in Base.

Humans have a huge amount of potential, when Guru gave krillin an unlock it increased his power by around 75 times and elder kai’s ritual is better so I’d say that the humans who all have amazing potential compared to other humans would at least get an ss2 level boost.

What if For *dummies* Room of Spirit of Time+Whis Staff=4-5 Years worth of training in a day. Training; (hypothetically and for easy scaling) Potential Unleashed=300× Mutiplier on top of base (stacked) ×2 (Due to God ki Training) This idea is genius. I was planning on scripting an idea like this myself about Whis training them inside the room of spirit in time. But this is just genius. Great job Carthu, and I hope this helps.

Way more than 2 years man. Remember they have 365 days in the original Room. With Whis' staff then 1 day inside it would be a year. Well when they come out of the staff there is still 364 days left inside the Room of Spirit and Time. So technically they could train for 365 years inside Whis' staff before the 1 year is up in the RoSaT. So this mind boggling potential would yield ridiculous training time for the team if they had the life span potential to be able to use all the time available they would have. Instead however each member could go inside the staff one at a time to receive one on one training from Whis to ensure the best potential training results while the rest of the team does their own training collectively while awaiting their turn with Whis inside the staff. As awesome and amazing as this training would be, the ToP would be ridiculously easy for U7 team that it wouldn't even be worth a story arc for the show, instead only worthy of some in episode dialogue between a couple characters as they train during a different arc worth being given the time to tell.

See, I'm confused why this wasn't done in the original timeline (besides the writers not doing it). With 40 hours before the tournament, there's enough time to send in the team to get their potential unlocked AND wake up Buu. Even at 40 hours before the tournament, the time to get them unlocked is 7 or 8 days in the Time Chamber (not 9. Gohan already had his potential unlocked. He just needed to tap back into it, and that shouldn't take more than a day or 2 once someone else unlocks their potential, probably Piccolo). Given it's 2 months for Buu to wake up, that's only 4 hours back on Earth for the unlocking and Buu waking up. Give it another 2 months training to adjust, and that's 8 hours total that have passed. In this scenario, Universe 7 still wins within the parameters in this video, albeit with more difficulty (I see Master Roshi and Tien being eliminated, though they take more fighters out before they do).

Potential Unleashed is the bringing out of one's natural power and release without any stamina or ki drains, it's an independent transformation pool. So God ki is a seperate power from potential unleashed, Carthu just happened to combine the idea that, God Ki can stack on top of God ki which does make sense.

This is what i wanted to happen when they were wasting 40 hours trying to gather the team. It would make the humans and androids being able to do what they did in the tournament far more realistic if they went into the Time Chamber with Whis to at least catch up to Piccolo and Majin Buu's level of power.
